why would the tach not be on the left and MPH on the right? With no option to switch them. They've always built these trucks with those reversed and then some code writer decided how he wanted it. . Along with every car i've ever owned has been reverse of this!
That kind of bothers me too. But I used to have a 2015 Camaro and the speedo is actually on the left with the tach on the right. I never really thought about it while I had the car.
They better rewrite the soft ware to reverse them.

Agree. This has frustrated me since purchase. I have been searching for a way to reverse this. I only use digital dash now because I CANT STAND IT! Glad I’m not the only one 🤣🤣🤣

I traded in my F150 I had for 11 years for the new GMC. They did a fantastic job on the truck
As much as I love this all digital display I think they could have given a little bit more options.
My 2017 Yukon has the tach on the left and Speedo on the right. Bothers me you can’t customize it to be this way in the new trucks. I’m sure I would get used to it the other way around but it seems like they could figure out a way to do this with an all digital setup.
I am waiting for a digital turbo boost gauge for my Duramax.

Great video! I do have to disagree about having the time and weather on the left of the display. That info is already on the infotainment screen so that’s why I opted for the compass. Just my preference!

First thing I wanted to know was how to dim friggen screens ,the buttons lower left of steering wheel dont do nothing that I can find ,truck is very dark at night as far as interior lighting , lots of gauges and buttons un lit ,if somebody let's you know somthing post in comments please .

I just got my gmc a few weeks ago, and these symbols confuses the hecko iut of me. Especially that mPG symbols. one min it seems like its getting 99 mpg and i know thats not tru.
You can move the compass to the windshield then you driving directions will also be on the windshield also. If you have the HUD.

What about setting and resetting the trip ometer. I keep a log book with every tank of gas. My 2013 Sierra would provide gallons, miles and MPG with the press of a button. My 2024 SLT is driving me crazy with this. I am doing my logbook with a calculator and pencil. Seems I should be able to display. Thanks.
Would this help with a 2020 Chevy Silverado duramax? We are having trouble getting how many miles per gallon the pickup gets on the digital display.

I just ordered the new 2023 Yukon XL Denali Ultimate, and I was wondering how to customize the screen. This is a great video and I'm saving it so when my truck comes in I will be able to set up the display that works best for me. I also like that your truck has super cruise. Under Options, it's right under Speed Warning. 4:22 in the video.
He said it in the video. You have to be on a road with a posted speed limit. No speed limit on a parking lot, hence no number in the white square

I think it’s any with this screen. I have it in my RST with no super cruise option.
I have the 2022 Sierra Elevation 4x4. It's not fully loaded but I have it.
You have to have OnStar though I think. I says something about plan needed when you enable it.

I wonder why GM still does not offer a panoramic
It would require a complete redesign of the chassis. You can’t just throw in a panoramic sunroof. The structural integrity of the cab would be completely shot.
They will when the Full redesign for the next Gen comes out in 3/4 years.

Do you need a monthly subscription for the Speed Limit indicator to work?
You need to pay for data for it to work. $15 for 2 GB and $25 for unlimited.
tach needs to be on left side, but of course the think tanks are clueless about that. Tach has been on left side for decades.
