He has declared a changed life and has found God but after 2 months I don't see a conversion. My relationship is now strained and we nolonger read God's word together. I ask you to support me in prayer for his TRUE conversion to show. All he does is worship before his x-box. He's 16 with no training. Help. Forever in His service

My 10 year relationship is ending. My girlfriend is moving out and I will be living alone. I'm 78 years old. I had my aortic valve replaced 4 years ago. I had a partial stroke and lost some vision in one of my eyes but did well enough to pass my DMV test so I can still drive. I have 2 daughters that love me and will look after me as needed. I'm very independent but realistically cannot deny the presence of end of life issues. I'm frightened but at times excited about having freedom and independence. Having to care for myself with the medical issues and the limitations I have is daunting and overwhelming. Worst case scenario's pervade my thinking. I try to ward them off with prayer. I'm glad I found this web site. I hope it will help. I read "Jesus Calling" daily and read the Bible references.

My 10 year relationship is ending. My girlfriend is moving out and I will be living alone. I'm 78 years old. I had my aortic valve replaced 4 years ago. I had a partial stroke and lost some vision in one of my eyes but did well enough to pass my DMV test so I can still drive. I have 2 daughters that love me and will look after me as needed. I'm very independent but realistically cannot deny the presence of end of life issues. I'm frightened but at times excited about having freedom and independence. Having to care for myself with the medical issues and the limitations I have is daunting and overwhelming. Worst case scenario's pervade my thinking. I try to ward them off with prayer. I'm glad I found this web site. I hope it will help. I read "Jesus Calling" daily and read the Bible references.
Dear Lord Jesus,
You are the king of my heart, the one who knows my innermost thoughts, fears, and hopes. You are my savior, my constant companion, and my refuge in times of need. Out of pure and selfless love, you stepped down from the glory of heaven coming to this earth not to condemn but to save, to heal and to restore. You allowed yourself to endure unimaginable pain and suffering on the cross so that I could be saved, cleansed and redeemed. I thank you, Lord, for this unfathomable love, a love so vast that no words could ever truly describe it. I praise you for this love that is unlike any human love, perfect, unconditional and eternal. How can I begin to repay such love? How great is your love, oh Lord, that you gave everything for me, even though I did nothing to deserve it. You gave your only son so that I could be free, so that I wouldn't have to face the darkness of separation from you but could have eternal life instead. Today, as I stand in awe of your boundless love, I am filled with gratitude and wonder. Your love is beyond anything I could ever imagine, and I am humbled to know that this love is for me. Thank you for the precious words in scripture that remind me of your deep love and purpose for my life. You tell me in Jeremiah, "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart. " How amazing it is to know that you knew me long before I took my first breath. You had a purpose for me, a unique calling and a divine plan. Lord, you saw me even then knowing all the paths I would take, all the mistakes I would make, yet you loved me anyway. You set me apart to be your own to live in your grace and to walk in your light. How can I not lift your name in praise when I consider how deeply you care for me. You knew my greatest need long before I ever realized it myself. The need to be loved completely and unconditionally. I didn't have to earn this love or prove myself worthy. You loved me as I am despite all the brokenness I carry, despite all the mess that sometimes fills my heart. You loved me enough to cleanse me, to forgive me, to make me whole again. You are the God who sees everything, who knows every hidden corner of my heart, and, yet instead of judgment you offer me grace and mercy. You see all my faults, all my weaknesses, yet you surround me with your love. A love that sees the best in me, even when I cannot. Your love gives me strength, Lord, and in your love, I find my confidence.
