You were always able to add Active Skills to humans with Skill Fruits. The issue before is that they used to glitch out and not attack if they had any Active Skill equipped except Punch. That changed in the Sakurajima update for all humans. They can now use Active Skills normally.
I would honestly keep Punch on his skill set. My Jonin has Punch, Air Blade, and Apocalypse. That sword strike NGL is scary AF. I completely maxed him out as well. Ferocious and Musclehead on mine 😅.
I've known you could add skills to humans but they never used them, good to see they made them viable now. I ended up catching a Wandering Merchant I condensed to max just for the higher rank in crafting. If I'm gonna keep a merchant on my base may as well make it more useful for manufacturing jobs.
Yup. "Punch" is his "Regular" attack, hence sword. And, yeah, you can give skills to humans, been doing it for some time now. My friends told me to stop wasting time doing it but I've raised a few Human-Pals quite strong for fun. :)
Pretty sure "punch" is just a placeholder for "attack with weapon in hand". Meaning itd probably be better to keep punch, and just add 2 abilities for range. Then he'll always be attacking doing high dps
You don't need the Concentrated All-Purpose Pal Extract to Condense him, all humans can be condensed using any type of human, so you can use level 5 Syndicate Thugs which are a lot easier to catch.
Did you try to use Yukumo to try and place passives onto your people pals? Not sure if it works but if it does.... it could be a game changer (might have to trap them somehow so the pupper doesn't get wrecked).
You know what would be kind of cool if we could upgrade regular pal spheres turn let me enter the other versions of as long as we have the right resources I know that probably wouldn't make much sense to some people but😂
yes you can catch them , caught a Pal Tamer and the three Samurai, you need a ton of balls , weakened them with my laser gun then used my sword but it is a grind : )

Good to know!!!
I didn't know we could successfully have them using skills now. I tried that early and didn't wanna waste skill fruits again on them.

I tested this, and it does work. Condensing your Yakumo I believe will makes the chance for the passives to occur.
Brilliant idea!!!
Mine got brave and ferocious ability. You can leave the punch that have 1 sec cd. And slap beam slicer and blizzard spike. Massive dmg bruh!
If you keep the punch ability does he use his sword again because when I put on all the fruits, he ends up, not using his sword
Yes you have to have punch for that.

Can confirm you have to keep punch for the sword attacks. Edit: for spelling.
You shouldn't have removed his punch
