Getting Over It

A game that I've been expecting to be recreated since 2.2 was released, one of the most popular platformers, Getting Over it was a perfect match and we get to experience it in this level. From the movement that is notoriously frustrating at first, but fun and satisfying once you get the hang of, to the commentary from the creator speaking not only on our journey, but theirs as well.
All the different pieces of art, whether it's the references to other popular levels, icons and miscellaneous objects, they all add to the known mystique of these types of games.
The music is another center piece, the slow jazz and piano soundtracks that are there to make your falls even more painful, it's all here.

Thanks to this level, I can officially say I've beaten an insane demon! And in 11 attempts, no less!
... Why did the community rate this level insane demon? Is it really on that level of difficulty? I know comparing the difficulty of this level to that of classic mode levels is like comparing apples and oranges, but it's not like this level requires anything particularly precise. If anything, it just requires a high tolerance for frustration, which isn't really difficulty-related. Personally, I don't think my rating of this level would've gone any higher than low-tier hard demon, and even then, my saying that is probably influenced by the anchoring effect.
I feel like the difficulty would be completely justified if the hazards actually killed you. (Or maybe that version would be straight-up impossible. I'm not sure.) I wouldn't actually want that as the main version, though, since it'd kinda go against the point of a Getting Over It adaptation.
