At 160mph the new Fireblade really takes off - it's uncanny. You need a lot of road if you want to get everything out of it.
You can change the gearing and enjoy the same acceleration at lower speeds ... Stock bike geared to like 225mph so it has huge spreads

Bro, in europe, one of the if not the fastest street bike on the road is the RR-R SP at the moment. Ive seen even a couple videos them gapping some H2... The top end is crazy. Also, the short exhuast is killing the performance on that bike. Sick video, the energy is crazy ahah!

Ps in the meantime put a 3 tooth smaller rear sprocket on your RR Blade and you'll do better up top. This will keep you a little more competitive until you get your RR-RRRRRR-SP ;-)

The fire blade is electronically limited of topspeed but the real topspeed is 335kmph or more if you top the end so crazy

Here in the Philippines were a bit lucky i think when it comes to price difference between the two . The RR-R SP is much cheaper than the base s1krr 😅 ,it only retails for 1.5million pesos while the base s1krr is ranging from 1.8million to 2million on the M package .

parasitic drag is a killer, the bmw should upgrade from his single rotor kit to the rear only kit. or the brake eliminator. it obviously doesnt work on the track but its great for topping out on the interstate where you dont ever need brakes. also shave a couple ounces and ditch the fork oil and springs. solid aluminum instead of rear suspension

long time ago there was an agreement between the japanese manufactors to freeze the engines in the performance by 150-160 hp in times when BMW build only boxers . No one would have beat them in the past when did go on as they did before .

I got nervous while watching this even though im not the one ridding (these videos are amping me up to get a motorcycle as soon as i can)
Don't jump straight to a 1000, that's usually suicide. Starting on a 125 (per euro regs) lets you learn the finesse you need on a very forgiving platform that just doesn't have the power to get you into trouble.
My next step was the 650 (CB650R in my case). That has more than enough power to get me out of trouble (and delivers a good rush at the top end!), but it's still more economical to run than a car (which is part of the reason I got into this). I think I'll stick with that for a good while, maybe get a 1000 for track use if I ever feel the need (and get good enough), but I'm keeping the 650 regardless.

@@jevyjuicegone Depending on where you're based, even a 250-300 should be alright, but 125s usually let you get away with a whooooole lot.
While you're at it with the advice thing... don't do what I did and buy a brand new 125 :P I was on mine for a grand total of 4 months, there was absolutely no need to overspend like that.
But yeh, have fun!
