Nice! When I had my recording studio! I had 4 different keyboard setups! My grandmother played piano in church for 50ish? Years! I'm not very good, but I can still lay some pretty wicked keys down! Guitar is my thing! Thanks Shredder 😊 you'll love it in You're mixs!
FYI. This piano is identical to the Donner SE-1 but with different buttons and a simpler user interface for $100 less than the Donner. It also comes with a very nice triple pedal.
Love keys. My 2nd most time played. First drums then keys and newest is guitar But I love them all. Music is everything. Sadly sold my moxf6 due to covid and falling in love with guitar late in life. Hahahah.
I wonder the keybed how it feels. Semi weighted ?
The keys are weighted. Don't know if it's semi or what, but feels like a real piano.

Nice to see a Bald Shredder review of a keyboard! Even though guitar is my primary instrument, I use a keyboard to compose just as often, as I love retro and neo synthwave and vintage synth movie scores, like John Carpenter and Tangerine Dream. Seeing that you have that awesome framed ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK poster on the wall (like I do!), I'd love to hear a guitar/keyboard cover of the amazing main title theme from you someday!🤗🐍

I just got this as my daughter’s first piano… I’ve never owned one but I was taught when I was younger the basics and always wanted to play…. Now we get to learn together 🥲🙂

I like this piano, but would likely go for something half this isze with space at a premium.
It is rather large, but it is supposed to be a real piano substitute. You'd certainly need a good size space for it.
I bought a Williams digital piano - Full size weighted 88 keys (like this one), brand new for $150. And they're not much more now. They sound incredible.

Great video review. I also watched on Amazon for the same piano. If you don't mind, how do you feel this compares to the Donner DEP20? In watching other reviews on the Donner, It seems on of the major cons is it's size. I don't like the height of the unit. of 7 inches tall. which would make it more heavy and difficult for me to stack my smaller Casio on the top tier of the stand. My main focus is on how genuine the grand piano sounds and feels..o get close as possible to a real piano key weight and hammer action as possible. Thanks🎹
I like this one better than Donner. Sounds really good and easy to use.
@@thebaldshredder That's what I was hoping for. Especially because one of the organ samples you demoed sounded close to the synth track 1984 from Van Halen...I didn't hear any close to this on the other budget E-Pianos reviewed here on youtube.

Bought a Fesley FEP 160 (the one you got for your daughter) with intent to connect to a Steam Deck/PC via MIDI Cable (not included) for music production and practice. Fulfilled both functions without issue and piano is recognized on VPMK, FL Studio, Musescore, and Ardour as well as pipewire rerouting. Only con for me that's subjective is that the keys sensitivity does not have a consistent feel based on how gentle you press vs the sound it produces. If you're looking for a digital piano with usable on-board speakers, that can also function as an 88-key MIDI keyboard, this was worth the try. Can't complain at this price.
I have an old KORG N5ex synth. I mostly use the string ensemble.
Now you need to call a piano tuner and tell them you got your first piano, you know nothing about it, but you want to get it tuned. 🙂

I do not see the pick-ups, the bridge, the whammy bar, or the tuners. I don't think this guitar is for me.

Yes I saw that. And they said they don't know who the other bands will be yet. Plus no announcement from Def Leppard, so maybe they won't tour together next year. We'll see.

Fesley seems to be a fantastic company. I was also very impressed with Fesley guitars. That seems to be another awesome product from them. I need a new keyboard. I've been looking. Perhaps I should check this one out. MiDi is a must, so it checks all the boxes. Thanks brother.

Really glad you posted this video. I've been playing guitar on and off since I was 10 and I'm 73 now and sometimes I still suck... Just got a RockJam RJ461 61 key keyboard cause I figured it's easier going from a string instrument to a keyboard then vice versa. With these new keyboards you can make your own backing tracks using one finger for chord changes and with the built in rhythms and drum beats they sound great Rock On
Just get a Roland GR and a 13 pin for your guitar . Any sound you want you got .

Bought a keyboard a few years back. It was oddly liberating, compared to guitar shopping. I didn't have to have to choose between different shapes and colors. They all looked the same. It just came down to price and functionality.
Exactly! No worrying about pickups, neck profile, frets, is it set up? So much easier with a keyboard.
