Thank you loved Ronnie Corbett & Victor Borge
One of the last Decent Shows 7 had went to a few of the live shows Victor Borge is a comedy legend I could watch over & over
He's stoned off his face in this lol
It would have been so hard for Steve Vizard to interview Victor Borge, such a funny man, I saw him in Brisbane it must have been almost 20 years ago with his comer, exclamation full stop routine, absolutely hilarious, love Ronny Corbett as well , great video thank you for sharing .
Ronnie could have easily done his own talk show
Do you have footage of Albert Lee performing on 'Tonight Live with Steve Vizard' ? Albert played guitar next to our own Doug DeVries - and Doug just SLAUGHTERED him on live TV. I would just LOVE to see this on video.
Sorry, l don't have much Steve Vizard footage. It's just too difficult to access.
What happened to television 😥
Great shows, do you have the first episode?
Sorry, l don't. It's very hard to source any content.
@@LaurieBasile Thanks anyhow.
So funny how the old geezer pops out on stage with the puff of marijuana smoke out his gob. He's so smashed😂
It's a shame Vizard killed Tonight Live when he did
Five nights a week for Steve proved too much. If l remember correctly, the writing was on the wall after he stopped hosting on Friday nights and then guest hosts dominated. If he had the stamina and dedication like Don Lane, Tonight Live could have had a ten year run. What's your take, David? Curious to know.
@@LaurieBasile Ugly in' 'e
I vaguely recall my Media Studies teacher talking about Tonight Live. He mentioned that a lot of the material had been borrowed from David Letterman. When it first began a lot of people talked up Tonight Live for being fresh and innovative.
What was the competition on offer? Nine had Clive Robertson but this was axed and replaced with Nightline. Channel Ten quietly launched a late night news bulletin during the outbreak of the first Gulf War. It was presented by Anne Fulwood and rated well.
Trouble with vizard is he laughed at his own crummy jokes
