Maha, there is another problem about prural you haven't explained yet like non-human prural which will consider as feminin singular. Please make video about this and give us muuuch example sentences. :)

Maha- I subscribed to your channel today after watching a couple of your Hebrew lessons videos. This video struck me and got my attention. Thank you for being honest and straightforward about your feelings. I am sorry that you were upset about the haircut but the only thing that comes to mind is that you have been so used to the previous hair volume that now it feels "empty" or "shallow" but let me tell you that I think you look beautiful in this "new look" as well. Shalom

In spoken Arabic "een" (ين) is used for all cases, but the "correct" forms in both written & standard Arabic are: "oon" (ون) for the nominative case (= subject of the verb) & "een" for the oblique case (direct/indirect object & after prepositions). So: "The Egyptians (المصريون) saw Mehmet" but "Mehmet saw the Egyptians (المصريين)".

Actually, if you think about it, there are different patterns for plurals, so really there are really rules for different plural patterns. Like if you have a word like daftar, mat3am, shubbak, fustan, etc... their plurals fit a pattern: dafaatir, mataa3im, shabaabiik, fasaatiin, etc...

If 10% of the nouns fall into the rule it may be 'cause language evolves. Rules change by nature, and especially in terms of language no human created them consciously. They just help us to understand and describe a language, but they are not forever.
