I love it when content creators actually give products a decent shot. You can’t return makeup where I live, so if I buy something I’ll sure as hell try it a bunch of times to see if there’s a way it’ll work for me (with different tools, different products under/over/mixed in). Especially with stuff like mascara, I don’t understand how some influencers will try it once and decide they love/hate it instantly. Your thoroughness is definitely appreciated 💗
At first I didn’t like the Armani Luminous powder.. but since it was so expensive I kept using it and I found that it works better if you press it into the skin with your brush.. sweeping it everywhere makes it tug on your foundation and it looks horrible lol. Sometimes you just gotta use different techniques 😉 glad you do videos like this!

I have never hated a cosmetic product more than the Tatcha powder. Horrible packaging aside, the powder somehow simultaneously failed to provide any mattifying or blurring properties and also sucked every bit of moist youthfulness from my skin. It shrivelled my undereyes into concealer covered raisins. I looked in the mirror and had aged 87 years. I looked like the Crypt Keeper wearing a red wig. Chalky and dusty with weird glitter mixed in. Fine ground sawdust and dollar store glitter. It was so awful, it legit hurt my feelings. Aaaaand it smells like wet cornflakes?! I have never hated anything more in my life.
Julia is literally the prettiest person ever. Literally, everything looks amazing on her, and don't even get me started on her eyes. Never seen eyes like hers. She is sickeningly stunning. She gives me like kitten vibes cuz she is so sickeningly cute and pretty. I love when she poses with her kittens! God bless her.
I’ve seen so many mixed review of the Nars foundation! It really is so individual because I’ve never had a foundation work so well on me. Loved the video!
I use the nars glow booster as a foundation. Since when I first put it on I saw how it added a tint and it works so well since it does dry down well and isn’t super dewy
I use the LM loose powder in the glow version as a loose highlighter. Its very natural and pretty. I have the sample size tho so it's perfect because you dont need much. I would try adding that to lotion or something to use as a glowy body lotion maybe. Idk as I said I just use mine as a natural highlight lol

I feel like you burn through them so fast and I can’t justify it. Could be why I can’t get them to work for me 😂

The Eaze Drop? I wouldn't recommend it for dry skin. I have oily/combo and love it but some with dry skin dislike it. The Hydrating one might be good. I haven't tried it though.

Try using Quo beauty eyeshadow as contour or bronzer. If its too sheer as an eyeshadow, it might be really cute as a nose contour because it has a washed out vibe
Julia - I hope the reason you can’t remember about the Milk highlighter stick ISN’T because it caused you sensitivity or break out! A long time ago I had a mini kit with bronzer and highlight stick and only used the highlight and it gave me bumps! It is very pretty.. so 🙁 Fun video!! 💗

I have been going through UA-cam videos trying to find a highlight that would be more of a natural look (like you not wanting glitter/too much shimmer on your face) but I'm 38 so I need something that can work for more mature skin. I was wondering if you thought the milk would work or I know you love one from nabla that I don't know the name of, or another highlight?! I trust your recommendations!
Great products, And you put a couple items back in your regular makeup rotation. I love the Pat McGrath blush. I have the shade desert Rose I think. It is a very pretty blush. I wear almost all of my liquid lipsticks with a lip balm. They are just too drying for me. I’d like to see you do future videos similar to this one. ☮️💜

Glad you ended up enjoying the PML blushes. When you wrote them off after that one try, I was disappointed. I know it’s not that serious, but products should be tried out multiple times before making what seemed like a firm decision lol. Kinkysweat’s first attempt with the blushes were over the the LYS foundation (I don’t think it was set) and they went on patchy but she immediately changed the foundation and threw a little powder on and she was in love. Anyway, loved seeing you give all of these products another shot. It was also nice to see you like the Milk highlighter since it didn’t seem like you didn’t dislike it in the first place.
Your theme for this vid is wonderful. Wd appreciate your doing many more of these, esp bc your MUA credentials and experience make u more credible (despite the fact that u look 20. 🙃 --made up or no.)

You also have to try the PMG blushes that have a slight sheen, I.e desert orchid. The ones with a sheen blend much better than the pure matte ones.

If you like the wand in the Sky High, try the L’Oréal Unlimited mascara. It’s really nice, and a bit more thickening IMHO.
