I have sleep apnea as well and have come to love my cpap machine. After about 6 months maybe, I felt like a completely different person.

Sleep struggles are so hard! I have a sleep disorder called catathrenia so I’m trying a mouthpiece to reposition my jaw first then a CPAP if needed. I hope it helps you and you’re able to get some restful sleep! Sending you lots of love!
I too have sleep apnea, and am a sleep psychologist who has studied alternative as well as allopathic medical treatments. One thing you can do before your machine arrives is to paper tape your mouth shut before sleep, so you only breathe through your nose, and to use a Breathe Right or similar nose strip to open your nose to the max.
This can help prevent mild apneas, but won’t take the place of a cpap machine.
Fold a tab on the piece of tape to help remove it in the morning (don’t rip it, it can take skin off if you do that - pull slow) and cover your whole mouth, corner to corner, including top and bottom lips.
If your lips are super-dry you can even lightly moisturize your lips beforehand- I use Micropore paper tape by 3M and it will stick even with a light coating of lip balm. Rub the tape to ensure it sticks and breathe through your nose.
This has the additional benefit of concentrating nitric acid in the brain during sleep, which is one of our brain’s most potent cleansers and detoxifiers, at the precise time your brain runs it’s own cleaning cycle.
Google “mouth taping for sleep” for more. Even though I wear a cpap every night, I always tape too -it’s been a total game changer.
Stick with your cpap when you get it, and make sure to try on both full face and nasal pillow type masks. One will feel better than the other. Sleep tight sweetie! 😴

Wow. FWIW, I found myself irritated with the sounds of fast and constant fingernail tapping and crinkling cellophane, and had to turn it off. I'll have to use a different session. For me, these are not gentle or pleasant sounds that lead me into sleep. I usually find your energy and sessions soothing, but the beginnings of this one did exactly the opposite for me. I offer that feedback constructively, and not with any intent to be negative or disparaging. . . It's more difficult to gauge things doing remote over video like this vs the immediate energetic and other feedback you get in an in-person one on one session. Perhaps it is just me or I am in the minority on that, so again please take this feedback for what it's worth. I really appreciate what you do, and I think you do it very well. You have such a wonderful energy.
