I feel sorry for the person who had to decide game MVP honors for this game because Georgia State's *RB Freddie Brock (24 carries, 276 yards, 1 TD), QB Darren Grainger, and WR Cadarrius Thompson (5 catches for 117 yards, 2 TDs)* all brought in this game. GSU fans should be proud of those three.

Smaller bowl games are the best, man. The CFP won't truly be good until it expands next year, but these games are prefect for interesting match ups until then.
CFP will expand? That's a shame, I always liked the format with two semi's and then the big game...kind of feels like it devaluates the final result, like in the big American sports leagues, where half the teams go into the playoffs..

It's a trip, after that Davon Booth (Utah State) 65-yard TD run at 3:31, Georgia State's defense sold out and shut him (Booth) and the Utah State offense down. Credit for that goes to the defense and their defensive coordinator Chad Staggs.
Despite my criticism (prefer Canadian to American) and the fact they are kids (I'm born in 85, oldest are now born in 2001 right?), I do enjoy this bowl game being played in the North/West of USA, Blue fields, and celebrations with solid not liquids. Too bad it was 1 sided but I picked them to W so no worries mates 😊
