Something that I didn't expect to see in this was how dark it got as the story progressed, but it's a good thing, it makes a video stand out from the rest. Good job man, looking forward to seeing more stuff from you in the future!
Brilliant work, my friend! This is a great interpretation of the story. I gave an audible "oof" when the shot of the cemetery faded in - very emotional. It's hard to realize just how "real" the story gets at the end until you see it on screen. Well done.
This is an amazing video. Out of the hundreds of troublesome-truck stories, this one really stands out, being both darker and more exciting than most other stories. The crash was great, and the best part was when the other trucks started hating the “evil truck”
This would be a definite series 5 story but with the crash scene I think if it was in the series they would have not included the death part because Britt would have considered it too scary for younger viewers
well I'll be did not expect that now if a truck actually went that far in the telly series or the books i was expecting percy to have severe damage like a busted boiler or bent buffers but the lives of a family yikes still a good story
Some genuine critiques... The video is actually... really good! I like it. Nice camera work, good sound effect use, overall, the video feels pretty enjoyable. But there is a critical issue with this video. Most of the adaptions of this are treated like it's just another Thomas story. However, "Down The Hill" is a much darker story, taking on the feeling of Sodor the Dark Times. Very grim, and... _out of character,_ for Thomas. The inclusion of traditional Thomas music is questionable, especially given the runaway theme is used for when Percy is rolling towards a house with people inside, that are later killed by Percy's being. Also, the use of the commonly silly Wilhelm scream might not have been the _most_ appropriate, considering the scene is followed up with line "The lives of those in the cottage were lost." Like... someone _died,_ their bodies crushed under the weight of a heavy metal tank engine. Don't be afraid to use a genuinely scary scream. I guess what I'm trying to say is... You made a good video with equally good quality, but didn't... "feel the room" so to say. The general mood of this video feels more calm and relaxed, when I've always found Down the Hill to be a foreboding, and grim story. I think you'd be good at adapting many Thomas stories, but the mood of this story was lost through the use of common Thomas music and... "kid-friendly." sound effects. Like I said, don't be afraid to make it spooky 😋 Sorry if I sounded like a jerk, I just feel that maybe I should try to help ya improve 😅
Thanks for the feedback, I was going for more of a season 6 than a dark times style. I didn't want to go full on dark times, it wasn't the intend of the story. It was a dark Thomas story rather than a dark story. i think i hit the nail a bit but me and aaron still have a lot to learn!
I kinda like that the typical happy Thomas soundtrack and atmosphere clashes withe the tone of the video, it creates this sort of lost episode creepypasta feeling to it and makes the whiplash of the credits sequence have more impact.
Your good narrator but this story got real dark real fast and I hope all the engines helping Percy get through this but still good narrating and good story
This was great. It still has a scary Series 5 feel to it. Well done to Aaron for narrating it.

My goodness, that adaption felt like something from season six. You have done a great job and Aaron’s narration was perfect.
More like season 5
Thank you!

Excellent job! I'm looking forward to seeing more adaptations and such from you.
Well, that cemetery scene really caught me off guard
Hapless the Diesel: I'm worried everyone, this disrespect for Percy... When is this same things going to end?
I love how the video was so dark and then it got cut off by the happy hour lucky ending theme
I find it so unsettling that the happy credits music plays after people just died...
That's why the story doesn't work at all for Thomas. It's so edgy
@@sirwelcome Thomas can work well with dark stories, just look at season 5. Also edgy and dark are not synonymous.
@@sharkythegw7843 Try actually understanding why I called this story edgy
@@sirwelcome How about you just tell me? Why do you think it's edgy? There's no need for you to be passive aggresive.

What a wonderful story of good vs evil!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Sneaky Steamie I get that but in those days when Thomas could get away with more this would have been in Series 5 as I said above
Well done, subscription earned!👍🏻👍🏻

Where did you get salty from? Is he private?
Percy has PTSD.
tbh this is basicly most trucks on the nwr

what happened to henry
Great story but there's no way this could have been televised.
My dude do you have a discord? I'd love to learn to make trainz episodes.
Poor Percy he had wrong car and cost him to crash
What?
