Can you believe it?! My water broke 3 weeks early, and Royce decided to come into the world, breech and all! If you've been following my Bumpdates you know how surprising this is! I was out to dinner with my family for my own birthday, when I sat down and GUSH!!! Matt was away in California performing, one day from returning home!
You'll see the rest in the video... I hope you enjoy our crazy adventure at welcoming our baby Royce into the world!! :)
I also want to thank you all for following our pregnancy journey and for all of your wonderful advice and comments, and of course CONSTANT love and support for our little family we are growing! We love you all and we are so excited to share this with you!

Alexa, you are so absolutely beautiful in so many ways. I love how you reached out to Matt for advice on ensuring you were calm for Royce's entry into this great big World.
I hate he was not able to be there with you, but it's apparent he was there with you in spirit.
The first thing I saw when he was brought to you was how much he looks like Matt. The spitting image of him.
It is so apparent he is feeling love, and is so comforted. He is so beautiful, so perfect, and such a blessing to this great big World.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of this personal and private journey.

His little coo is just melting my heart.
Just FYI, strength in a child, when a child moves fast, the old wives tale is that when an infant child moves fast, they are making room for the next, so that would mean you will be adding to your family soon.
I didn't believe that at first until it was proven. My oldest son was so strong, so extremely alert right after birth and started crawling when he was so young, just a little over a month he was scootng himself then started what we called the crab crawl. He would have his little bum in the air, and his little hands and feet would be going 90 to nothing. At 5.75 months he was standing himself up at the couch, turned around & took his first steps. By 6 months, he was walking.
There was an elderly woman that was adoring Brett (my oldest), and asked how old he was. I told her 6 months. She smiled then proceeded to say "He's making room." I didn't understand what she meant and asked her what she was referring to. She then said, and very matter of fact "When a baby moves fast, they are making way for the next. You are already, or will be soon pregnant with your next, but by the looks, you are already pregnant with another."
I freaked a little because I wasn't ready to share my one on one time with another child yet. That week was his 6 month check up. I asked my Dr if we could do a pregnancy test just because. I told him what the woman had said, and we both laughed it off until the results came back positive. I was about 2 5-3 weeks along. We tracked my last cycle and that was about right. The boys were 15.75 months apart.
So, I know you want several children. It appears the Universe is hearing your request and possibly making you ready for that dream to come true.
Whatever the case may be, all I can say is this World is blessed by your family, and your posts are so uplifting and special. You, as a family, touch the hearts and souls of so many. That is your purpose here on Earth, to uplift and help guide and comfort those you come in contact with.
Stay as precious as you are and continue to spread your uplifting, positive, and beautiful messages that you do in order to sooth the souls you come in contact with. And thank you again for what you share and the love you give. You are all truly loved by so many. 💝

Congratulations! So adorable! I have two boys. When they were babies they were always with me. I wore them (The wrap I wore I could cover them up so no one knew when I was feeding them) co-slept, and nursed. Now my oldest is 18 at Tech school. He went in to the Air Force. Growing up every one was telling me that I was ruining them. My oldest missed me the first night at basic. By the second night he realized he didn't need me. So, you do what feels right for you! He is beautiful and perfect! When he starts toddling around and gets hurt, a kiss really works!
Alexa I am so glad you have a partner like Matt, clearly he adores you and he is as fortunate having you, because are a gem. Happy for all of you.

Oh Alexa I'm so happy for you guys you better enjoy these moments, they go so quickly. From an old woman who knows take every moment you have with this precious little being that you can because before you know it he'll be running it only takes about 8 to 14 months then they're standing I am so so happy for you and Matt I can't keep myself in check I'm feeling the energy and that is so important to me because it brings back all my memories take all the pics and videos of him that you can get because it is going to move quickly. Congratulations! Such a joyous time. I remember the smell of newborn baby ... nothing like it. My youngest is 42 now but I can still remember the smell of her, the feel of her for the first time.
