I'm sorry but could you get a real voiceover actress to do these? The mispronunciations and the artificial-sounding voice ruins what would otherwise be a captivating story.
I count myself lucky I'm profoundly deaf, then. I use cc to "listen" with, and, if I take my hearing aids off, the mispronunciation doesn't matter too much. Stuff your ears with cotton wool! Or turn off the sound and use cc. You might enjoy it more, since the history and jewels themselves are quite interesting.
why would Catherine wear the spencer tiara? William is a Windsor - not a Spencer. His mother WAS the Spencer. It never belonged to her. It was loaned to her as she's a lady from the Spencer House. The Spencer Tiara will always belong the current Earl Spencer for the use of his wife and daughter. 🙄🙄
@@jacquelincayton8298 Rules were set in place to where only Spencer WOMEN would wear it. Not just someone marrying a Spencer. If you are NOT a Spencer woman, the monarch will pick out your wedding tiara. 3 generations wore the halo tiara before Catherine, and Queen Elizabeth (not Elizabeth II) was given it by George VI.
@@buffys3477 Thank you for filling in that hole for me. It's good that it's safe and away from Harkles. I think that Charlotte should pick the Meander tiara. She'll be Princess Royal. Makes sense for her wear it since she'll receive it when Charles and Anne pass on.
The Duke of York was Prince Albert (Bertie). When he ascended to the throne, he took the throne name of George, to give a sense of continuity after the abdication of his brother Edward. One of their younger brothers was actually Prince George, Duke of Kent.
First, in terms of Princess Anne "owning" the Halo tiara, that fact is patently incorrect. The Late Queen loaned it to her daughter to wear several times including fir her official birthday portraits on the occasion of her 18th birthday in 1968. Secondly, the Princess of Wales' being loaned the Halo tiara for her wedding a) didn't cememt her one day becoming Queen 👑, it was simply her something borrowed and I believe it's still on permanent loan to her even though she hasn't worn it since her wedding. B) There wasn't ever chance that she and for that matter the Duchess of Sussex ( Meghan) were going to be loaned the Spencer Tiara as their wedding tiara since they weren't directly marrying into the Spencer family.
This was the tiara that MM wanted as a wedding gift from Elizabeth 2. But Elizabeth 2 told MM, "No" . So here comes the infamous "No" respond which MM can't accept.
I don't think so. MM was allowed to choose which tiara she would have, and I can't see her choosing this one. People have even complained they didn't even know Catherine had it on since it is so diminutive and really lacks any presence at all. This is why it's only worn a very few times by any Royal, put away, and then passed on. The two tiaras in question are the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik tiara (the one Eugenie wore) and the Vladimir tiara trimmed out in emeralds that QEII liked to wear. The disagreemen has gone back and forth as to which one MM originally wanted. Some say it was the Greville that had already been promised to Eugenie since she pushed back her wedding date for Prince Harry. Others say it was the Vladimir tiara, but Prince Harry's memoir, Spare, says MM was offered Queen Mary's Diamond Bandeau Tiara with a center sapphire stone. MM says she chose the Queen Mary's tiara with a center diamond instead. There is just no way MM would have wanted the Cartier Diamond Halo tiara, because it has been passed down to teenage princesses almost exclusively. But when Catherine is QC, she can wear whatever she wants. I guess she no longer likes the Lotus tiara. I have to confess, I'm not a fan of the Strathmore Rose tiara. It just lacks a certain presence. I've seen a couple of tiaras in videos that I've never seen before from the British collection. One in particular was diamond and sapphires in a lacy design. I can't wait to see Catherine when she has full access to all of the tiaras in the vault. (I'm about to have the vapors just thinking about it!!) 👍
This narration is awful! Platinum is not lighter in weight than silver or gold. It is much heavier! My wedding set is platinum and are much heavier than any of my other jewelry with much larger stones.
The 1909 Greek-motiv tiara created for Margueritte Allen is absolutely exquisite! Very classy. Marie Bonaparte's olive-wreath tiara is also very elegant. Didn't like the "dazzling diamond star" replacement though. It makes it look kitsch! I don't really like the Halo tiara, it's too small and "fiddly". But I guess it shows Princess Catherine's modest nature, that she chose that from whatever was offered her for her wedding.
AI voices are never acceptable. Just because humans have become so cheap they do not want to pay a human with intelligence, means we must listen to AI voices with no intelligence and constantly mispronouncing names and words.
interesting. however it was hard to listen to the annoying AI voice pronouncing Cartier wrongly over and over. it’s ‘kahr-teeay’ 2 syllables. the first ‘r’ is pronounced.
CARTIER is pronounced car- t- a or french roll the r, otherwise the video was very informative once you could ignor the jewellers repetitive mispronouciation of his name.

The closed captions sometimes deliver a more ambiguous narrative!!
yes! and with the repeated mispronunciation of Cartier! 🙉

In the event that he has no grands George will inherit it for his female heirs.
Diana was the youngest of three sisters, her children would come after hers if it ever comes up for grabs@@GoddessDiv
A way to incorporate Williams mom into the wedding. Princess Diana wore the Spenser tiara at her wedding to Charles.

I literally could not watch this the narration was so irritating.

The Spencer Tiara is owned by the Spenser's not the Crown.
It is still owned by the Spencer Family.
You sound like a dock worker from Boston “Catier” lol

I cant get over the way they keep saying Cartier.
The story of the meander tiara hurts my heart. The owner saved her jewels and maid but lost two daughters? How do you stay sane after such a loss?
How do you proudly wear the thing to events afterward?

Canada has never had Aristocrats.
Quite unnecessary artificial sparkle added to the diamonds in the pictures. Even the velvet band under one of the tiaras is sparkling. 😂
Unfortunately AI isn't your friend on this one.
I wonder if subtitles option would be better or you need a translator. Appreciate your efforts.
That is a bit passive aggressive. Like someone said earlier to a different complainer, will you donate to help hire a real person for voiceovers?

I assume the voice was changed. It doesn't bother me. The music does.
Cotier?

His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales is not a crown Prince. He said that it was the Welsh people to decide if he was to be crowned.
Hire A REAL VOICEOVER PERSON!
Are you going to pay for it?
@themarquis336
No, but I wouldn't release it with so many glaring mispronunciations, either.

Why can’t people who narrate these pronounce common names properly? Car-tee-ay
The Marie Bonaparte diadem is so beautiful but looked horrible with the star she added.
Peculiar pronunciations. Incorrect word usage.
Enunciation,PRONUNCIATION both lacking.
Love the information but do not like the robo voice!
Despise ai narration
