I'd like to see Micah stood up in those A gap blitz packages Zimmer likes on early downs. Try to eliminate some of the abuse he takes fighting tackles on run downs. But to do that we need Williams to mature or the rookie to develop fast

This WR3 controversy is kinda absurd. How many receptions are we talking about? It’s the 4th option. Turpin, Tolbert, Flourney, and Duece will get the WR3 targets, and that’s plenty. Please chill out everyone. Get us an impact RB and DT and we’ll be just fine.
30-40. Gallup had over 30 last year and the main receiving RB is also gone.
@@JeffCavanaugh Gallup was the 5th option with 34 receptions and Tolbert was 6th with 22. And that was likely due to the team wanting to justify that ridiculous post injury contract extension, and Dak’s love for the man. Tolbert will easily match Gallup’s production from last year, with Turpin seeing more touches this year, easily replacing Tolbert’s production from last year. RB and DT are our top two areas of concern, with WR3 a distant third.
Not signing all three... Trade Lamb now... WR is too easy to replace to pay one $35m+. Micah is on a "probationary" year, to see if he can grow up. Dak should be resigned right now.

What other team would sign Dak Prescott to a market-value contract? Not a criticism, an actual question. If Dak wants to leave, what team would he go to that would pay him?
I’d imagine that list is somewhere around 8-10 teams that would pay him QB market money next offseason.

It's easy to think that Jerry is still the head of the building because he says the most off-the-wall shit, but the truth is Stephen is literally the one running the organization. Jerry is nothing but a mouthpiece and "senior advisor" at this point. Stephen and Will McClay are directly responsible for day-to-day operations.
@@CKingery I never said Jerry runs the team. I know Stephen's the one who makes the roster decisions. I also know that Will is the one who does all player evaluation in terms of drafting, trades and free agency.
Not that it matters in this instance, but I believe Stephen is the number 1 reason this team keeps failing and why it will continue to fail going forward.
My point is that Jerry is 100% responsible for this country club, "me first" culture in the locker room, and that he undermines the coaching staff every step of the way by meddling in their affairs and doing his weekly interviews.
Both are responsible. At least Stephen stays mostly quiet. He's just incapable of doing his job properly and/or completely.
