Watery Wilderness of the Western Everglades

Explore by canoe or kayak the coastal portions of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Designated Wilderness of Everglades National Park and the Wilderness Waterway Trail. The Gulf Coast district, accessible from Everglades City, and the Flamingo district, accessible from Homestead at the end of the Main Park Road, make up the watery wilderness districts of the western Everglades.

Keep going guys! Preserve this and these amazing unique animals! Don't develop South Florida we've destroyed it enough. National Parks are a reminder of what the earth was like before humans and machinery. Let's all live in harmony together!
