  • High grade gold values of gold from gossan! An amazing placer gold deposit running behind our exposed outcrop of gossan and gold! Gold in placer gravels and some bedrock gold!
    Several other oxidized and heavily mineralized outcrops found. Free gold and minerals are in vein form and found as disseminations in heavily oxidized outcrops.
    With Gossan the gold and mineral deposit is below surface.

    I've been living in Beijing a few years and recently decided to give panning a try. We have this type of rock all over on mountainsides in Beijing *it's a big area. up to 5-6h by bus in the borders* I been to several placed. No flakes yet from any test pans.

      Not well? Sometimes we don't really have time for filming like if it's a hired job or have a lot of ground to cover so we film on the go and may seem out of breath from several hours of hiking

    Merry Christmas, and thank you for another fine episode. Do you have a website where you list your claims for sale ?

    • @911mining
      @911mining  5 років тому

      No we don't, we don't list them really. If someone is intrested in something they can just contact us.
      We have people who we have sold to before who we offer some too as well as companies who will contact us if they are intrested in an area we are working. If we have something we think is good we will contact them and try to work out an optioning agreement.

      No this placer deposit is actually behind the outcrops about 100 feet away. We think the creeks is cutting through the gossan/subcrop behind in a few areas.

    Nice video and very informative. I notice your pan is picking little gold but zero black sand, how is that?

    • @911mining
      @911mining  4 роки тому +1

      Part of it is the deep riffles, part is this creek doesn't have a lot you find more sulfides like pyrite in the pan.

  • @ReviveMeAlive
    @ReviveMeAlive 5 років тому +1

    So whats the importance of sulfides when you find them in large quantities?

    • @911mining
      @911mining  5 років тому +1

      Sulphides contain your minerals, such as sphalerite =zinc, galena =lead and silver, chalcopyrite =copper. When there found in large quantities and at a good grade they become worth mining.

    • @mikedeveault3485

    I don’t understand why you are not bringing a hi banker in and working some of this area ?

    • @911mining
      @911mining  5 років тому

      We don't just carry a high banker around on a prospecting trip, especially when there's a long hike involved and didn't know there was any placer deposits around. Working placer material isn't what we do really either, we prospect with intent to option to juniors.

    As for someone on the drilling end how many holes would you drill to test for your outcrops, how deep and how far apart. Just to identify if it’s worth it, not mapping the ore body

    • @911mining
      @911mining  5 років тому +1

      Probably just pop a couple in, unless we can get a company to option and do the work for us ;)

      I would love to get into that Buisness up there and do that but never been to BC and never lived somewhere where there is water... haha born and raised in the desert 🌵 looks a lot of fun to core up there it’s not to far away mileage wise maybe someday

  • @notsofresh8563

    What is that green rock at the right of the screen at 8:46 ? It looks a bit like jade. Ever jade prospected? does it occur in the same places as gold? I know there is High grade jade in BC, and have heard back in the 1800s many ships going from BC to Asia had jade in their bilges as ballast. In some cases the ballast was worth more than the actual cargo. Westerners didn't really know the value of it to the Chinese or they damn sure woulda taxed it if they could.

    • @911mining
      @911mining  5 років тому

      That rock would have chlorite in it. There some chlorite present in some of the rocks. Yes we have prospected for jade a couple years back. Not very often though

    Can i ask, how much doea ot cost roughly to get a sample analyzed?

    • @911mining
      @911mining  5 років тому +1

      All depends on how they prep the sample and method of analysis, how many elements, can be cheaper if you send in multiple samples. Awnser is between $20 and $100
