Can you give the examples of conceptual and empirical research related to psychology or social life?

Sure,
So an example of empirical research would be conducting experiment on whether playing violent video games promote aggressive behaviour in children.
And, for conceptual it could be probably writing a paper of population growth impact or something on these lines, which involve abstract concepts.
