I’m curious as why the firemen had two tower trucks extended directly over the roofline and yet not one drop of water was being put on the fire! Of course I’m not a fireman and don’t know the rules of engagement but it pisses you off when there are flames shooting out of the roof 20 feet highand still no water. Somewhere in the city, some heads should fall and work on a better system than this one.
So its a safety issue - towers were first delivering personnel to neighboring roofs for fire protection of those structures. Additionally in between 9min0 10:30 area you hear the chief ask if that 3rd floor (top floor) is clear of personnel and its safe to open up the tower cannon. This is for personnel safety - with an internal defense going on those on the exterior of the building cant not see the firefighters in the structure. A burst of water from that tower actually rips apart the interior of the house an they dont want anyone injured by flying debris. Hope that helps...
It’s not rocket science, but you need H2O to knock down fires. If you hit it hard initially you might need less water, but if you let it burn, there’s plenty of rehab work.
I just see a lot of guys standing outside. And no water coming out from the building. Play Monday morning quarterback. Or Tuesday morning quarterback. But I feel sorry for those firefighters. No aggression. God bless. I’m not going to speak of something I don’t know about from the inside. I’m not gonna judge. I’m just stating what I’m looking at. Without being overreactive. But what I’m looking at is amusing to say the least. They might want they might want to look into police work they want to watch. I’m just joking. I’go inside and hide or perhaps take a dump in the toilet I’ve seen that 😂😂 lol I am joking

Water must be terribly expensive in America!
LOL....NOT REALLY GUYS. THE UTILITIES HAVE BECOME SO HIGH IN AMERICA WE HAVE TO PINCH OUR PENNIES.
Only question, could ladder have been put into action a little sooner when fire showed through the roof.
Get to the roof open it. I don’t know I’m used to seeing water coming out from inside of the building.
I think there were still fire fighters doing internal fighting and had to clear out before the ladders started spraying
Of course, it could have.

Bingo! to busy opening up every window and door to allow the fire to breath. I thought I heard something about a "Coordinated Attack."
See all those hoses going in through the front door...?

Common sense, logic and a strong and responsible work ethic can take you a long way. You don't have to Be There to see what is going on.
The only time firemen will pull an Uvalde, Is when it is too dangerous to go inside, and they are transitioning to an outside surround and drown.
I’m seeing that Reading fire department got some pierce apparatus and more coming, also had they beef up their staffing? I heard it’s two per apparatus
Don't you need at least 5 people per truck ? 1 engineer to run the truck, 2 +2 per hose to attack the fire.
