Ahhhh I kinda miss the good ol' days when Phil and Max were friends!
Phil didn't have a problem with Max until 2015 when Max conned Ben out of the arches.
@@kieranr6435nah he felt some type of way about him before when he scammed everyone in 09. But tbf post Lucy and especially the arches is when they actually fell out
I think they wasted Carl's character they could have made him into a real east end bad boy just like Derek could have been made into a good gangster . Eastenders isn't the same now without these sort of rouges villains around

James Limb To be fair just Phil. All max can do is grab someone by the throat and Joey ehh think Carl would've gotten that upper hand but more of a chance than Mad max for sure.

James Limb Let’s be honest, Joey wasn’t even hard he could just throw a punch when it mattered. Max could never fight, you could bitch slap him n he’d cry.
Phil would destroy Carl with his arms tied behind his back but Joey and Max vs Carl would be 50/50 fights.

Carl could have taken Max, he just preferred to play mind games, that's just the way I see it.
Carl had zero feats though. Maybe he was hard but Max proved himself way more as a hardman.

adamrooney517 exactly he chose to leave. That's why they left his character open so he could return if he wanted to.
Salmz The actor was wooden and his character never made any real impact in storylines and got stale by the time he left. Don't expect him back any time in the future.
