+10ronaldinho11drogba Don't you think Eastenders kinda lost its way during this year with the obvious story change and axe of Derek Branning... once he was written out (apparentlly for being too grotesc) the only thing the show had going for it was Janine, who was also written fairly quicklly, meaning we had a full year of Carl, who i always felt was a continuation of Dereks story having a bit more of a climactic demise... it just woulda been better if it was Derek (of which i beleive the stories where written for...)
