Am I the only one who loved New Dark Ages, and everything on Empire Strikes First? Those songs were awesome! This new CD reminds me of Process of Belief which was also an awesome album

one thing i've always loved about BR, their sound progresses, but the overall spirit remains the same.

New Dark Ages is an awesome song, and The Empire Strikes First is honestly one of the best albums of any genre of the past ten years. I listened to it again just the other day and I was still in a bit of disbelief over how amazing it is. It's just masterfully done.

I love this song....I love the intro it's such a depart from a lot of their other songs. It shows a great honing of their skills. This isn't just another album this is a showcase of their journey and everything they've learned along the way.

Hell ya this album is awesome. In all the years I have listened to Bad Religion I have never been disappointed by their music and with this album they have continued that trend.
Well, you have to ask yourself "What action?" The song says "My next great decision is just lying in wait" and before that he says "The dominant portion seek an instant gratification and are proud of intellectual poverty." I think this means that he will commit a violent act against someone he doesn't like. The "world's most greivous mistake" part I believe is simply an exageration. He does not have the power to commit the world's most greivous mistake. So, it's about action, not inaction .

Either this or The Island is my favorite song on the album. Good stuff. The opening of this reminds me of the opening from Kids of the Black Hole.

Yeah, it could be the way you say. Sometimes it's easy to do something, especially if it's wrong or emotional. And it's hard to suppress your intention. So "laying in wait" could mean that stoping yourself is somehow an action, and it happens that the true action consists in an inaction in doing something.
However, he says to lay "in WAIT", it kinda sounds like he wants to step aside, ignore, lazy and passively wait for the change. If so, it couldn't be consider as an action... So?
