Hi, I had the same problem , finally thanks to your video I have mine working correctly. I have a F150 like yours , same color 🤩👍🏼 “good taste bro” 😂. Happy because is working without the trailer problem 👍🏼🤩. Very grateful for you taking your time to do this video . Thank you very much …
@@kenna.9368 I guess it's worth it if you're into flushing money down the toilet! The fix literally requires 3 resistors that cost only pennies and 15 mins of your time. But hey i guess $300 isn't a big deal for some!
as alluded to in the comments, YOU CAN NOT WIRE INTO THE HITCH PLUGS with 2019+ Fords with BLISS and trailer assist. The computer will lose its mind! YOU MUST connect at taillights.
I have a 2021 Ranger and plugging into the flat 4 pin trailer plug did not cause issues with the computer thinking a trailer was conncted. Only hardware needed was for the backup light. Mine is a True Mods light blade from Amazon for $54.
I did the same thing with mine. Just took me 2 days to do it. Lol. Day one was connected behind the trailer plug like yours. Noticed the same thing as you with the trailer issue. Day 2 was take it all apart and redo it to the taillights. Now it works but my dash cluster switches over to trailer settings screen again. What am i missing?
I installed a light bar without cutting or splicing any wires and not going to the tail lights. Check out the one connector you can get all the wires from the same place. ua-cam.com/video/yxzcnvDBBpE/v-deo.html
The dame for 2015?

Fantastic glad it worked out for you
Putco makes a plug and play quick connect harness. No splicing or cutting any wires! 🤷🏽♂️ so why go through all this?
#1 it wasn't out when I made this video 2yrs ago
#2 it's almost $300...this one is $19.
@@dksgarage6061 cool, time to update your video and 300 is worth it. Get what you pay for right…

IHere's a comment, If I had a dollar for every use of the word "Okay", I would be a millionaire.
Yeah, sorry...not easy to be polished and professional on the videos. I'm working on. It
Would it be same color wires on the 2018 ford

Sure caused more confusion with this type hookup.
Where is the connection on the truck to connect with Neutral wire of the taillight unit?
Is it require an extra setting on the dashboard? Mine shows trailer connected and blindspot warning and traction control off.
You said Dark green wire from the light bar on both sides. So which is dark and light? Passenger or drivers side
