This video popped up so I watched and I am glad I did. Your journey into detailing was similar to mine except I stumbled across Angelwax at a motor festival in Glasgow who found out I lived 10 mins from factory and invited me down for a tour. I then purchased most of their products and started doing what I had been doing for 20 years properly. I was put on furlough at the start of Covid and spent a year watching as much as I could and buying all the products that caught my eye. In the last two years since I took early retirement I came across Mitchell & King who are Wax specialists again 10 mins from my house and have struck up a friendship with John the owner. through our love of detailing and car wax. I applaud you on being brave enough to take on that project as I did not. I took a lesson in the art of machine polishing but found it was not for me so I had my JCW, Gyeon coated by a professional but subsequently sold it within 2 weeks for an i-Pace. I follow all the channels you mentioned religiously and have now added your channel to that list. Your car looks fabulous but that is the perfect colour to show it off.
Well done on the car and the video. John at Forensic Detailing is excellent, he puts so much effort in to his videos. When watching Pan, I just can't stop thinking about Yogi Bear. 🤣😂
I'm in exact same position as you were.. got all the stuff and just about to attempt my first full machine polish & coating. I've gone with gyeon for the coating. Really enjoyed the video
Thanks Heather!! Yea so pleased with the results!!! Just got to care for it all now. It was the gloss and also the waterbehaviour that really blew my mind!!
Thank you. I was nervous about this one as didn’t do much filming due to it being my first time doing something as massive as this. Great relief at the end though. Went really well and so chuffed with the results!!. Broke the tension of machine polishing and clay barring for sure!!
Great job dude. One question. Did you remove orange peeling before ceramic coating. I have noticed that before polishing the orange peeling on the paint was very noticeable. Thanks

Yes this car did have some orange peel in places but the majority did go after the machine polish stage. Not all of it went though.
one question ... all the distance on top brand coatings weather if its 3 or 5 or 8 year do they realy last that long or is it a money maker things?
