    She has always come across as a very classy woman. Paul was a womanizer so she did the right thing in moving on from him. She deserved better.

      Coureurs de jupons !!!! Quel vieux terme utilisé. En 1964, la Beatlemania battait son plein, Paul avait à peine 22 ans et le monde à ses pieds. Votre jugement est tellement sévère et vieux jeu !

    I remember Jane and Peter very young as unfortunate brother and sister in the early 60s tv show Robin Hood with Richard Green. Charming even ss a child.

      Yes, it doesn't sound like it's necessarily a compliment does it :) Mind you, it was coupled with 'sometimes inspired' which suggests that being described as competent was, at least in the eyes of whichever critic/fellow actor said it, genuine praise.

    Jane's natural bright red yellow hair had faded by her age 37 here, natural redheads don't turn grey, they get white hair but many turn dirty blonde or light brown before this.

    • @SamanthaDay-fm4bo
      @SamanthaDay-fm4bo 2 місяці тому +5

      Jane has said in interviews that she will never write an autobiography. It's not just because of personal reasons - like the fact that she is a rather private person - but has also stated it's partly due to her lack of clear memories from her younger days. This is not helped by the fact she didn't keep a diary. Overall, there wouldn't be much detail, only vague descriptions. I am sure this would be true for many people if they were to write a book about their life, particularly if they were in their seventies.

      I don't see anything wrong with him myself, but in any case bear in mind that things like his clothes and hairstyle may have been the choice of the production team rather than his. I've never worked in TV but I don't suppose anyone walks onto set in whatever they happened to pick out of the wardrobe that day and asks "On in five are we? Will this do?" :)
