She also sings the importance part of the song like a queen while Carla and Barbara seems like a backstage doing nothing much. In addition, this song undoubtedly benefits to Leanne. So, is it a fair battle for them?

For me, as good as Carla and Barbara are, it felt like they were backing singers to the absolute star Leanne! She has so much potential its unreal.. Looking forward to hearing her in the future
not being funny. but no one else in the competition were opera singers. so people saying this is an unfair pair, an unfair battle, unfair song choice etc. its hard to pair an opera duo and a ballad singer. saying that, these two were probably the best match for each other in this category. They also had to choice a 'big' song which could be sung in an opera voice too otherwise, if they had chosen an opera song, it would of been unfair on Leanne.

Why would you ever head to head these two /three like that? Not only does Leanne get more space to sing but the styles make it so she explodes outwards more overwelming the voices from Carla and Barbara to the point it seems like Leanne has lyrics and C&B have backup, making C&B harder to understand.

I loved this battle and I think Will.I.Am did a great job with pairing them together. I understand the mixed feelings but I must say that something that leaves you with such a good feeling cannot be wrong. I love the fact that Leanne was stretched and grew as an artist. That is what this competition is all about.
I'm here in the US and I'm rooting for Leanne Jarvis...loved her audition and loved this performance...and to all the people who say this was an unfair advantage to Leanne...Mariah Carey did this as a duet with Luciano Pavarotti once.
That was a rough arrangement/pairing to sing through. A lesser singer might have drowned under the strength of their vocal but you not only held your own, you managed to shrine through. NOT easy to do. Great job.
