    I love watching John running the shredder, he just has a way about it, his fence of humor is the best, I know there are others out there trying to imitate his ways but they are not even close, he just seems to me that he does not let things bother him and he is a natural, and most of all takes pride on his jobs, love him. God bless him always

    Amazes me how much money your customer could have saved by hiring you to do the job in the first place. Lesson: If you think you’re saving money by hiring a cut-rate contractor, remember this: cut-rate price = cut-rate service. A Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, Josh, Willie, Micah, their families, Jodi and the kids. And thank you for the hours of entertainment.

    Nice job man, at 1:13 you can tell that's a cluster "blank", especially with the grade and all. I have some land that's been through a few hurricanes in the past couple of years I'm cleaning up that kind of stuff with a tractor and chainsaws, your equipment makes short work of a big job.

    Friend of mine had to get 8 bad trees removed in a gulley between his house & neighbors before he could sell his house. When he told me the cost I was so glad I never bought forested land. Not to mention the damage a falling branch can do coming off a 150ft evergreen in a storm here in the PNW

    Good job. I live in Canada and looking to buy a mulching machine like this. I like the idea that the wood is mulched that will build up good soil faster than just logs and sticks waiting to break down. The mulch feeds the remaining growth and hold moisture.

    great video, gives me a good idea what a mulcher is capable of when i rent one for a clean up project i have. your videos are great, thanks, however i am adhd so if you added some sections of your video in high speed to see the progress a bit quicker it would have held my attention. not that i matter in the big scheme of things but i fast forwarded a bit to see the different capabilities of the set up you have. great video and great work!!

    You’ve got a good business there, especially where your located love to see people doing well but I’m worried about all the Easterners moving into the Carolinas. I remember to 1970’s and 80’s in the Pacific Northwest we made our living in the forest “Green Gold” then the Californians came and Easterners fleeing the same crap they face today they brought there crap with them. Instead of changing where they were living they came and changed the way we live. Worth remembering.

    When you decided to take the financial risk of purchasing the asv 120, mulcher head, a big enough trailer and appropriate truck to haul it what was the entail cost. I feel that in my neck of the woods western ny there is a good market for a service such as this but I’ve only seen one or two machines come through. I would love to pick your brain on this. I currently drive a delivery truck all over the place and see so much land that could use this service but no one offers it. Or if they do it’s way too high. Thanks and love the videos.

    Awesome job. You should take a look at an Eterra flail mower attachment for the excavator. Doesn’t mulch quite as fine as the fecon. But for uneven areas it works great.

    • @UpstateBrushControl
      @UpstateBrushControl  5 років тому

      We have a rut cutter for the excavator. We don't use it much since its kind of slow. We can usually cut it faster by hand and move it to the area to be mulched.

    She wont even see those logs in a few months. Mother nature will shoot out new growth and hide the logs. She could help with some plantings of choice. Question, would it be viable to plant grasses after the decay and do you think you should revisit once a year until grass can take hold or, would you let it go back to wild, vines, shrubs etc?
