- VISA BULLETIN OCTOBER 2020 | VISA BULLETIN UPDATE // October Visa Bulletin is out. This video walks through the changes in final action dates including the EB1, EB2, EB3 and EB5 priority dates. Find out which green card priority dates are current or have moved forward since last month in this visa bulletin update.
UPDATE: For EB categories, the Dates for Filing Chart can be used to file your I-485 in October. This is GREAT news for EB1, EB2, EB3 India and EB4 Mexico. Check your priority dates!

Hi thank you for the information. I have one question. On October bulletin unused family visas spilled to employee based categories. Is all unused spilled and allocated for October bulletin or did they spilled only few unused to employee based and spill remaining on month on month

Yes, the Final Action dates for the family immigration may not move due to the most consulates and embassies being closed, but shouldn’t the USCIS still advance the Filling dates for the Family immigration for those who are already IN the US?

Great information, thank you! I've been following your channel for some time now. I have a question, I don't know where to search but I sent my forms (i 130 and i 485) on august 25th. I've searched everywhere and they say to wait for about 30 days for the receipt notice. Should I expect the wait of this to be longer too? I don't know if I should worry because it's been more than a month and don't know if I should contact uscis (even tho I don't have a file number or anything). Thank you!

Thank you! I submitted K1 visa for my fiance in March and received USCIS acceptance letter on Apr 1. Still havent heard anything from them yet...I dont know how am I going to keep up the relationship now everything seems falling apart.

I submitted my petition in last week of Feb 2020 and got my approval(NOA2) saying my case has been sent to NVC in the starting of September. So just be patient with everything. You’ll be alright. Stay strong💕

Says for EB1 that we need to see date of filing and not final action date. According to that the date is 1 Seot 2020. Does that mean a March 2019 PD is now current?
Hello - the Visa Bulletin usually tells you to look at the Final Action dates for all employment categories. There is a link inside the bulletin that takes you to this page. www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-processes-and-procedures/visa-availability-priority-dates/adjustment-of-status-filing-charts-from-the-visa-bulletin It hasn't been updated for October yet, but check it in a few days and if it says Final Action dates then that's your answer. Hope this helps.
All - please check. employment based is now data for filing not final action date. EB1 is current now!

My Spouse’s EB1 C is approved in apr,2020.He can file I-485 now.My question is whether mine I 485 application can be filed along with his application or not.
Yes a spouse can be added as a dependent before the 485 is filed, but you should talk to a lawyer and find out exactly how/what to do.

Yes you can file your 485 - reach out to your lawyer and get that paperwork filed in October - good luck!

There is always that possibility, but I just posted an update. If you are in an EB category, look at the Dates for Filing Chart this month. The State Dept published an update a few hours after I published my video and for some people, this is good news.
My EB3 priority date is August 2015. Now since priority date for EB3 is moved upto 01JAN15, by when you think it would be likely current for my priority date?
No one can really predict that with any accuracy - we'll have to wait and see what happens in November, we'll all be watching closely (and hoping it continues to move forward).

I feel like it’s been like this forever . I have not gotten a interview yet at Juarez. Any way you can help me determine when I will get an interview?

UPDATE: The October 2020 Visa Bulletin is FINALLY out. Since I published this video, the Visa Bulletin page has been updated and for all AOS applications for employment categories, you can now use the Dates for Filing chart. This means that EB1 will be current for most people including China & India as the cut off date is Sept 1 2020. This is great news!
This is a generic question between EAD (before GC) and H1B towards the path of obtaining final GC.
I noticed significant jump on the priority dates in the Visa bulletin for Oct/2020.
Then I saw your video. So thought of asking you the below question.
Is it better to apply for EAD and renew it every year until I get the final GC or better to stay on H1B and renew it every 3 years and wait for the final action dates to become current?
Any EAD benefits I am failing to notice?
please update me on the passports and agencies, I have a International flight booked for December 1 2020 but I don’t have a passport yet. But I have an appointment for a passport aplicación on October 5th but I’m not sure it it’ll get back on time for my trip in December.
The State Dept has said they expect processing times to go back to normal this Fall and they say they've gone through the backlog from March-June (though I don't believe that as I know some people are still waiting), but normal processing is 8 weeks. I've heard of people getting their passport back in 2-3 weeks lately so it does seem like the times are improving. When in December is your trip? You should get it back by then...

Yes sorry, you missed it by 2 days, but let's see what November looks like. Also sometimes people downgrade from Eb2 to Eb3 because it has better dates, but you have to be careful with that - ask your immigration lawyer if that makes sense for you. I'd wait to see what happens with dates in November, since youare just short by a few days, yours will hopefully be current in the next month or 2!

What about eb4? My i360 is aproved. It is the juvenil special status.
Hi Vanessa - For all the EB categories, you can use the Dates for Filing chart in October to file your adjustment of status application (they just announced this after I had published my video). All countries in EB4 are current unless you are from El Salvador, Guatemala or Honduras.
@@maneeshamukhi im from El Salvador. Buy there are two charts I dont know which one i should look. As i said my form i360 is already approved.
@@vanessaescobar9374 I know, the visa bulletin is very confusing! You would look at the Dates for Filing chart this month for EB4 (every month they tell you which chart to use). The date for El Salvador is Feb 1 2018. So if your priority date is before this date, you'd be able to file the next step.

Hello, our PD is Jan23 2010. EB3 category has moved to 15Jan2010. Can we apply I485 now? Thanks!
Actually good news this month! Right after I published the video, they updated the Visa Bulletin and said EB categories can use the Dates for Filing chart for filing the 485. So for Eb3 India that is Jan 1, 2015 so your date is now current! Do it in October if you can. Dates sometimes go backwards too so file while you can.
What about employment based visas?
EB categories can use the Dates for Filing chart to file Form I-485 in October which is great news for EB1, EB2 and EB3 India/China
Why freezing in family immigration??
I think the visa backlog and limited processing capacity has finally caught up with the State Department. It should ease up though - we'll keep an eye on any news about this.
