You can do that or increase the spring load in the valve it will cause a delayed opening causing it to flutter or you could run a spacer (oring) on top of the piston wich sill keep it from opening all the way and create a sharper sound
Sorry just saw this one, this is the diverter valve that comes with the Garrett I tried to see what they used but couldn't find any information on it. I'll look tomorrow
@@VWTalk it's been pretty good so far they have worked with me on my time line for my sort of reverse build. Matt at EQT has been very good about getting me revisions quickly one occasion it was same day.
@@TheMrec94 Nice video! Thinking getting a Holset HX35 with similar durability to a Garret, but almost half the price for my GTI Clubsport MK7. They spool real quick to! Already on BSR Stage 1 at 370hp 460tq+ and a proper custom turbo back! Sounds Glorious! Check driving video at my channel if you like 😊
@@TheMrec94 Yes mate! Havent swapped turbo yet. How long you driven with car before you swapped? Im thinking maby its abit of a durability question as well as an entertainment one lol 😄
@@tredfxman I ended up having a low oil pressure warning come up and it ended up ruining the intake cam bearings so about 6 months on the stage 1 setup then got a motor and built it
What diverter valve do you have? Or did you just unplug the stock one?
