Almost as outlandish as Ballard trading up for a TE when we have needs at CB and Edge. Ballard trades down and picks up more picks, he doesn't trade up for a position that isn't a real need and gives up 2nd and 3rd RD picks in the process. What CB or Edge is going to be there at pick 82 or 151, realistically? We're going Mitchell, Arnold or DeJean at pick 15, unless we go Edge or unless Bowers is still there, which is a real possibility, which makes trading up all the more stupid.

This mock is so bad. In a world where Nabers falls outside the top 10, the Cardinals would be better off trading to 11 for Vikings much better package and getting Nabers.

Just something I’m messing with - make a bunch of rumored trades. Would like to see how you’d end up. Trade Higgins, Surtain and Ayuik. Worked in some other stuff to make it work, but. Surtain to Rams for 19. Higgins to AZ for 27. Ayiuk to the jets for a round 2 pick swap.

I love how the Patriots have stated multiple times that they’re going to “weaponize” the offense then don’t pick a WR until the 5th round 😂 I swear people still think Belichick is in charge lol
In all seriousness though, I don’t see a world where they trade out of pick 3. They made it VERY clear that it would cost a lot, and it sounds like the Vikings aren’t willing to pay that much (to no one’s surprise) but the Patriots like both Maye and Daniels, and would only trade out for Jefferson and three firsts or something extreme. I also completely understand the Amarius Mims pick, not that he’ll be there at 34, so I’d rather them go WR. It’s a bigger position of need than LT. From what the front office and Mayo have stated the positional needs go in order: QB, WR, LT. I know Wolf said “they have NFL WRs” but what else is he supposed to say 😂 “yeah everyone on our team sucks” lol

I'm confused about what the trade between the Seahawks and Eagles was. Did the hawks pay the Eagles a 4th to move back? Was there picks next year? I hate when the trade isn't defined.
It looks like it was 16 + 102 from the Seahawks for 22 + 50 from the Eagles.
Hawks fan. I like the trade. Not disappointed with Barton, but I would have rather take Cooper DeJean. Then best available IOL at 50.

i see johnny wilson 32 for you. big fan but it did seems the way he was running routes at the end of season were a lot more sluggish for example the Louisville game i know he had a back up qb but it looked like he just didnt care.

Chad Reuter man.... if the Eagles trade up and swap our first 2nd rounder for a 4th rounder just to take Jared Verse instead of Terrion Arnold I may just pull my hair out. Sticking at 22 and just taking Latu or DeJean (think he's a good fit with Fangio) would've been better decisions. Then to make matters worse they would've had pick 50 to select JPJ who is probably too good of value for them to pass up on. To make matters worse he selects Zak friggin Zinter for them at 53 when Edgerrin Cooper who they met at the Shrine Bowl, Combine, and had in for a top 30 visit was just sitting there staring them in the face just to go off the board one pick later lol...

@@HailMarySports Yeah man. First ever 3 time Team Captain at Duke. He had 114 Q.B pressures over the last few years and the only reason he didn't have the numbers last year that he had in 2022 was because he was double teamed more often and Coach played him out of position more snaps. Took him out of A and B gap and had him playing on the end a lot. Inside is where he thrives.
He'll probably go in the 3rd or 4th round.

I guess the draft would not be complete without us getting another Penn State player. You know, Penn State’s coaching must really be bad. They seem to have so many players who go in the draft, but they never really challenge Michigan or Ohio State in the B1G.

Brandon Coleman is the pick I really do not get. He is not even one of the top-five offensive linemen in this draft. At best, he might be a fourth or fifth-round pick. So we squander a second-round pick for a big-time reach. The last time we reached this far, we would up with Tytus Howard.
Coleman seem to be a tweener, not really a tackle, but then again not really a guard.

The Vikings have a decent amount of needs and a kicker is LOW on the list. If it was the 7th round, sure. Not the 4th.
Stupid mock. Chris Ballard ain't trading up for a TE and giving away our 2nd and 4th RD picks in the process. We have way too many needs, at CB, Edge, another WR that can actually play WR2, a safety, and depth on the Oline and Dline. Bowers might be a generational talent, but there is a fairly good chance he is still there at pick 15. If anything the Colts trade back and pick up more picks. That's what Ballard does. It's what many do when they have a lot of needs at various positions. We can trade down and still get a guy like Cooper DeJean who fills every need in the secondary. He can play CB1 or CB2. He can play backup NB to Kenny Moore. He can play either safety position. This is the problem with Mock drafts. No one knows enough about all 32 teams to make picks past pick 10. They also make the picks they want to make if they were the GM and not what the real GM would do.

Cowboys really get screwed in this draft 🤣LB in the 1st? no LBs are worth a first rounder especially considering with the Kendrick addition LB isn't quite as high of a need. with the talent that was still on the board he should of had dallas go O-Line or a trade down add on dallas can't wait tell the 5th to take a tackle. they need a play now tackle or guard pending on where they put Tyler Smith
