They come across as quite feminine, which is something I admire. It's ironic that society seems to downplay femininity in women when we're supposed to be in the era of women's empowerment. Most of the feminist-inspired media seems to celebrate women taking on masculine qualities as if the only avenue for women to deserve praise is to behave like alpha men. This is partly due to the fact that western society gave birth to feminism. Over the past few years we've witnessed the devaluation of motherhood; in my opinion, this is about as unhealthy as can be. The women in my life are proof that they're just as intellectually capable as men, but I think humanity loses something essential when only one set of behaviors/values are encouraged. I hope these young ladies (and all black women) grow to be their best selves, whatever that looks like.

Gentlemen, y'alls need to calm down here in the comment section. Yes, feminism isn't exactly needed in the U.S, but this is aimed not just at women here. As I hope you read, it says INTERNATIONAL Women's Day, meaning around the world. Women in third world countries don't exactly get equal rights. Countries like Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan and others forbade girls from learning. Some have been married off and sold, and some have been raped or abused. It's unfortunate this happens, but I hope someday a woman's future there will be brighter! I won't happen though unless we stand up.
This holiday is in no shape or form against men. It's to celebrate how far ladies have gone. Once upon a time, women could not stand up and speak for themselves. Today, we stand together, both men and women alike. It's nice to remember the women who have fought hard to give us the right we have today. Thank you.

Laws against abortion are horrible, it's your body , but so are Divorce courts and custody battle percentages. (women get a lot more out of mirages and divorces than men do, and have to TRY to not get their kids)
Abuse Happens to both males and females, Yet only women ever get taken seriously.
And While there are tons of women's shelters for abuse and poverty, almost none exist that allow men, not even husbands are allowed in the poverty case.
Rich men in cooperate positions are sexist assholes, granted. But 95%+ of lower/middle class men are Completely normal or at least a tolerable variant. There will always be creeps and crazy's, get over it. You women have them too.

Women should not be taught to feel like victims, they should be aggressive about taking the opportunity to ask for a higher starting wage (especially if they know they are overly qualified!!), a high majority of the men in my life are not chauvinistic assholes and I love them dearly, etc. etc.
You and I are very similar and the circumstances we are in are quite similar. Up until now, I have had a very negative image of the Red Pill movement. And why is that? Because radical assholes have seen it as an excuse to spew hatred- even though that wasn't what the movement was originally based upon. It. Is. The. Exact. Same. Scenario. With. Feminism. A true feminist believes in trying to achieve equality on all issues (gender, racial, class, ableism, etc.). True feminists fight hard to educate people on how prevalent rape is in our society (1 in 5 women in the U.S. will be raped at some point in their lifetime, and 1 in 73 men- honestly, probably even higher than that because it is so UNDERreported, especially for men). And a true feminist is the first to berate someone who has the audacity to falsely accuse someone of rape- potentially ruining their life forever!! I could go on and on.
Point being: I am a true feminist. This is where the feminist movement truly resides- in promoting equality across all spectrums. Anyone who has a different view or separate agenda is NOT A REAL FEMINIST. I repeat. FEMINISM IS ROOTED IN TRUE EQUALITY. Anyone trying to push any other agenda (i.e. make men feel ashamed for the actions of other assholes who happen to be the same gender, imposing white guilt, etc.) IS NOT A REAL FEMINIST. Refreshing to know that the Red Pill movement was originally trying to educate on the exact same issues. Don't mind the radicals in our movement, we don't associate with them- as I'm sure you don't with yours.

Yeah, I've never felt superior for being a woman; in fact, just the opposite, because my competence and abilities are constantly questioned just because I don't have a cock dangling between my legs. Also once saw someone cite being judged on your appearance as an "advantage" of being female. Uh, no, I would much rather be judged on my merits and my character than on how I look. Most of the so called "advantages" of being female (i.e. custody battles, sentencing in crimes) are due to archaic gender roles and implicit assumptions about men and women. Also, I'm always hearing that men are so much stronger, men are smarter, men are at the top, men are leaders, men made everything, men are so great. I'm just now starting to see some positive statements about women, but that suddenly means men are being oppressed lol.

I've been watching these young beautiful queens since they were little girls in the basement with a keyboard and guitar. I absolutely love them and am so proud of everything they've done, are doing and will do in the future. I pray my daughter grows up to be as beautifully kind, smart and talented as these two.
Why are there so many ignorant people talking negative about women's day like first of all that's one of the reasons in the first place. Since no one wants to educate them i will. First of all asking a question like "Why isn't there a international men's day" is like asking why isn't there a national white history month compared to black history month. The reason women have this day (Which should be a month also ) is to remember and learn about the amazing women you men in the past had suppressed. And it still happens today. Sexism is still very present. Its to educate and spread knowledge about women to celebrate all the hardships they have been through. What would the point be in celebrating men. Yes some of them are amazing but they had whole era's to themselves. And the good men in this world celebrate women right along side women. God people who are saying why don’t we get a happy international men’s day can you please stop alright. Women have been through a lot of shit through the years. It’s basically like saying
“There’s a black history month, why isn’t there a white history month” it’s annoying. Every time women are trying to be equal to men. A lot of men (not saying all men) backlash at us for “being not equal, “ and “feminists are annoying.” (I understand there is a lot of crazy ass feminists out there, but for the most part feminists aren’t really like that at all.) at least can we appreciate one day to talk about how a lot of women are amazing. Everyone is taking this day the wrong way 😔
People will never know equality. We as humans only twist our beliefs, and opinions into something we find suitable for our own mentalities.
Biologically women have it harder, socially men have it harder. There. Done. No need to debate.

Not to sound stupid, but didn't men almost always fought the wars that made a little bit more peace in the world? Women deserve rights but shouldn't suppress men's overall reputation.
