I have the older screw on lid ones too. These silly things do work pretty good. We use ours mostly for car rides. Ya know, when we are out drinking and driving.
This is actually convenient. With energy drinks I buy the reclosable just for the sealing benefit when it costs more for not that much more. With this...I can buy the regular size and reseal it. Not a bad product.
i bought this... and putting it on is the oppesite of easy. i had to stand on the fukn thing to get it closed D:< but after i closed it, the frizz made the pressure pop the lid open again :P
Oh, and they do work on the smaller "Red Bull" style energy drinks too. There is like a 2nd lip deeper in on the caps so they work on both sizes of cans.
I tried these thinking it would be a good way to prevent spills but it was impossible to get them on the cans. I ended up using so much pressure that the can started crushing in half before the topper popped on. Nice idea, but unfortunately they don't work.
my mom bought a pair of these at this store in big bear called stupididiotic. believe me, they work and, surprisingly, she loves them! although the first time she tried putting the thing on her can it was kinda hard, but she got the hang of it now.
the bottle tap or the story? because none of them are fake. they work pretty well but she is getting a little old now, so she needs help putting them on
bought these a few days ago....for 4 dollars. If you asked me they arent really worth the 4 dollars, of course you do get 12 of them which does make it worth the money. But there is flaws in the product that i have noticed. Its difficult getting the top onto the can once its open, which causes spills, and that the lid does not always completly close no matter how many times i make sure that iv closed it. Im not saying its an entirely bad product, its just not worth 12 dollars.
I'd recommend getting the ones that Evike(the airsoft retailer) sells. Those are high quality ones that actually WORK. These in the ad are pieces of crap that are about as a good as a book glued shut.
I own these and the lids aren't water tight. It kind of loses its carbonation and it's not a screw on lid. Also it's impossible to get on and off without force.
Public Service Announcement: Don't put an opened Aluminum can of soda back into the fridge to drink it later, regardless of any Adverts claiming it's ok. It's not. An opened aluminum can, which isn't guaranteed to be 100% aluminium, can and will cause the metal to leak into the contents. This is due to it be subjected to air. You can store unopened cans of soda obviously as they are pressure sealed. If you don't hear the POP when you open any pressurized metallic container that's been in the fridge, do NOT use its contents. There is also a significantly greater risk of mold, bacteria, or other lovely things if it's not pressurized shut. Your life your call; this should be urban dictionaried for anyone skeptical. Just don't do it. Remember that "epidemic", and its in quotes on purpose, of the child fruit drinks having sludge of bacteria or dead animals at the bottom of the containers? And those containers were a mixture of paper, wax and aluminum lining. All because there was a manufacturing defect which didn't guarantee the boxes were sealed AND pressurized (all air pulled out).
I sometimes have a weird feeling when I desperately need an infomercial product. Like at lunch today, I couldn't finish my snapple. I needed a bottle top. DAMN somebody ate my fucking lunch!!! I needed a Lunch Locker.
i have something similar to this. it's horrible, I can barely get it on the can because the force i have to use is more likely to crush or slide away the can
This is actually a problem I sometimes face where I am outside and I have to down a whole can, because i cant just put it in a bag. the ringpull popper is just stupid, who is too weak to open a ringpull!
Actually this isn't such a bad invention. When I drink soda i usually don't want to feel inclined to drink the entire can yet i don't want to be wasteful and do I like flat sodas. So it actually seems like a useful invention.

I'd just like to take a second to appreciate how the outfits match the soda can and the bottle top color.
SugarCubes101 IT DOES DHDHSU
I love how the color of the can matches everyone's shirt.

SquidWERK they added them lol
I bought a screw-cap one of these on the market for £1.
Works pretty well actually. Good for car trips.
O-or you could just put it in, like, a bottle.
That's also an option.
Or even better a glass

Yeah and guess what? If they aren't sealed, they lose their carbonation!

Those kids were eating ribbons for holiday dinner.
It's like those folded napkins at restaurants, a decoration on the plate before food is served. Just so the table looks presentable.
im just gonna keep watching commercials and criticising them

THIS IS WHERE THAT GIF IS FROM
The thing with soda cans is that they are not meant to be saved for later. Once you open one, you have to drink it all down before it loses its fizz.
why not just get a bottle of the soda?
Aye Bree This is obviously if you like cans and only have a can but good point
basicallybrii | I’ve heard someone saying that aluminum cans are more safer for the environment than bottles, but I don’t really know.
Mostly because cans are cheaper than bottles
Obviously because cans are cheaper than bottles
@@tysonpacheco1783 Exactly
nigga this shit hard to put on the can like seriously took me 5 minutes to fully apply the top to the can

"You can't do this with an open can."
Yes you can.
It'd spill everywhere but I'm pretty darn sure you can turn an open can upside down.
Not the point, dude!

wow!!!!! I got these for my mom for Christmas! I figured i might get something useful for all of the family!

NEVER EVER DRINK AND DRIVE. DOING SO WILL RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH BECAUSE YOU *WILL* CRASH YOUR CAR.

omg I got 6 clear ones that the lid screws on for $2. and trust me ...... its not easy to seperate when finished
Man, I'm really glad this exists, because it's not like there are soda bottles or anything.
These are actually pretty handy.
I tried these thinking it would be a good way to prevent spills but it was impossible to get them on the cans. I ended up using so much pressure that the can started crushing in half before the topper popped on. Nice idea, but unfortunately they don't work.
@countsmegula
exactly ! plus I doubt the Bottle Top can withstand the pressure build up if a fizzy drink is turned upside down.
same, I hate it when it's really fizzy and usually I just leave cans for a few hours so that it goes flat before I drink it.
No more soda can problems
Actually this is one of those few inventions you see on tv that are smart.
They just basically cut off the upper half of a small gatoraid bottle anybody can do this -.-
You can't :)
Because that is soooooooooo watertight

This looks like a good idea.

But I love it when soda loses its carbonation...
me too
Some name that includes an emo band so do I
It wears out after about 4 or 5 uses. Go to take a drink and it comes off splashing soda all down your neck and shirt.
At work we are not allowed to put open cans in the refrigerator. We do have a pop machine that has bottles of pop.
the funy thing that those bottle tops maches with their tshirts :))

I have these. Unfortunately, they didn't come with a can top popper.
In first grade I accidentally dropped a pencil topper in my can of soda -_-
