That’s a very long knife.
I carried a Camp King for years then a SAK. I switched to a belt Gerber Multi tool and it wasn't me so I went back to the SAK until I came across a Bear and Son Scout and have carried that for a decade+. In all 45+ years of carrying and using a knife.
I love the Spear over other blades and use both phillips and straight blade as well as the can opener more than I use the bottle opener. I recall being 16 on a church camping trip and I was the only person out of 40 that had a can opener. Needless to say I opened a lot of cans that weekend so a can opener is always on my list.
Love hearing this story. I have been having similar thoughts about having a knife made.
You had me at „drinking buddy“. Gonna try and pick up the yellow. An added plus is that it‘s legal virtually anywhere.
Well actually everyone knows knives are only meant to be gently fondled while admiring their beauty. If you’re a real madman you might cut a piece of printer paper to truly appreciate the the amazing geometry, superior edge retention and toughness of the steel. Then you put it back in the case where it belongs.
I’m not a slip guy but 154cm, nice aesthetic and a bottle opener are enough for me to pull the trigger. Hopefully the price is where you want it.

Mine just arrived and I'm head over stump for it. First off, and most importantly, it opened my beer with no problems. Second, this is super high quality construction. Great walk and talk, perfectly flush seams, beautiful blade with that swedge and hollow grind. I normally only carry knives with clips, but I'll make some room in the 5th pocket for this one. Great work, AKB!

I absolutely cannot wait. I've followed this channel for years because you speak to my soul... not in the "I have a AKB waifu pillow" sort of way, but more of a, "Wow. He's so awkward - my heart really goes out to him" sort of way. I digress - I WILL own one of these knives. Just need to decide between the blue micarta and the green bone. Tricky. Tricky.

So that’s not the style of knife that I generally gravitate towards. But it does look quite appealing. And I agree entirely about it being a tool rather than a safe queen. And honestly. I need another knife like I need another hole in my head. but I am the same way. I don’t buy things to look at them. I’ll have to check out the prices when they drop. God bless you. That's a very nice knife. I enjoy the SAK Bantam but wished it came with a more modern steel. I'm hoping for a blue micarta Stumplifter, as long as it isn't stupid expensive.

Not really my style, but if I had the extra capital, I would definitely pick one of these up. Frankly, you can tell quite a bit of thought went into creating this and bring this to market. It is gorgeous for what it is and does.

I really like the denim, and I’m a fan of the shield being upright when the knife is horizontal so it is symmetrical, the way you originally designed it, but that minute detail doesn’t discourage me from picking this up when it drops!
