Disagree. It's disputable. But judging by this song at least he goes in right direction in abortion topic. Also he isn't whining about kids in Hooters. So this song undisputed even for me.
I've been watching for this one to come up from you. THIS is why I homeschooled my grandkids... they got to be kids with limited outside information, yes I sheltered them! Tom has a gift to lay things out in a comprehensive manner that brings clarity! The baby girl verse brings tears to my eyes for my granddaughter, and now she is married and expecting her first girl in July.
@Montana Nana God bless you and your family. Many Americans are waking to the challenges we face. Protecting our children is paramount. Homeschooling is necessary to protect, nurture, and educate them.. Best of luck... and keep an eye on the refugees from California. 😉
He's not singing to the children as their dad. He's singing to them as the system. The system itself is tell the children that they don't have a chance, that everything they'll encounter has been predetermined.
He said one of the hardest hitting lines in any song ever. "We'll empower you with rights to vote and fight for equal pay. Then have the men turn into women and you'll fight for them again" my man's is a lyrical genius how he can put all the things we all talk about and think into rhyming bars
This song hits hard - mic drops with every verse! And when he talks to the little girl about what she has to "look forward" to in the system is crazy! Really love this - the beat, the song, the video, it all packs a punch. Loved your expressions and what you said in this reaction. This was a great one!! #HOG❤
Britt I'm sooooooo glad you finally reacted to this song. This is my favorite song by Tom & Nova. I think EVERYONE in this country should hear this song on REPEAT until they finally open their EYES & MINDS so they can actually understand what it means to be "WOKE"!!!! #HOG4LIFE
@@kennethbearhayslip642 It's just really nice to know that there's actually some of us out here that still have common sense & can think for ourselves. As far as the "EXTRA SHORT BUS" riders go...all I can say is take the warning labels off everything & let DARWIN take over LMAO 🤣
He has evil full red contacts in his eyes. Perfect for "The System" he represents in the video, This is one of his best IMO, and like all his songs, the lyrics are right on. Nova does it again, outstanding video. Great reaction!
Always love your reactions! The look on your face while he sand to the baby girl made it obvious that you would have something to say. The lyrics in this song say a lot, but the visuals make the video. Tom as the personification of the system dressed in all black with the red eyes talking directly to babies to let them know what they're in for.
Your reactions are always spot on. I appreciate the fact that you can be objective and your ability to hear a truth that many either can't, or simply don't want to. Keep doing what you do.
Tom gets so real on this one. I almost ended up on the floor from shock the first time I heard it, how well Tom put these concepts into verse astounds me, and it hits me hard again each time I hear it.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Loved your reaction, Britt! ❤🤘😎 #HangOverGang
This is my favorite Tom MacDonald, hands down, including the last week's worth. I still can't get through "everything is mine" without having to hold back my tears, cuz it's so fkn true. You're right, though, it's a banger
Collective action can be a powerful tool for change. On the other hand if you want to maintain the status quo and keep people from working together, then sowing distrust, fear, disagreement and desperation in the public can reduce cooperation; even between people with common problems.
He is wearing what are called sclera contacts they are made to cover you’re entire eye and come in pretty much every color. One of my favorite songs of his also!
"Violence is a symptom" is probably the deepest statement in this song. I dont think that people inherently want to be violent, but refrain to it when there is no other option - THAT THEY THINK (important part). Cuz I am quite sure that if you split up humanity in groups of 100 people, for example, and give them the choice to sacrifice one human each year, or (also for example) starve to death, every single one of them will do it. That's why it's so important to have social systems in place to meet basic needs of people that are at their bottom. If only to keep them from doing things that're harmful to society, but on a survivalistic level very understandable.
#TheSystem 'What you choose will never matter because everything is mine.' Plus Tom shows off his wrestling balancing skills on the side of the crib. #HOG UK
100% agree.... This is def in my top 3 for Tom. The closing line to the last verse always gets me..."What you choose will never matter because everything is mine"....Still get goose bumps everytime I hear that line.
Coming from a Christian background (and still going to church every week), as far as what I can tell, the system exactly as he describes it, is sin and or the devil itself. Been working on this System since the dawn of time literally. it works slow, but it has always been heading the same direction.
I am binging your Tom Macdonald and Nova reaction videos and loving them. My girl loved your "Ghost" reaction because she reacted exactly the same. As for this video 💯 on point. I agree wholeheartedly and love Toms ability to get the truth through to people who love to 🙈🙉🙊
I listen to this over and over and over when I have this CD in. I love every aspect of it from the lyrics to the beat to the bomb ass orchestra feel to it. That double bass really makes the song pop.
This is the song that turned me on to Mr. MacDonald.I had seen his name and the thumbnails in many reactors pages and just wasn't interested. At 51 I am pretty set in who I listen to anymore musically. Well, I am guilty of judging a book by its cover. I was wrong!! My son came home one day and told me I had to listen to this. I was H.O.G. before the song was even over. Been loving his music ever since. And even if I don't like "the music" I will still support him because of what he is saying and doing. He is becoming the voice of millions of people whether he realizes it or not.
Definitely amongst my favorite of his. "I hate Hip Hop" is my favorite still because it's what attracted me to him in the first place so it's more of nostalgic preference than a substantive preference.
I think the production quality on *(The System)* is some of the best Tom has done I don't need to speak on the lyrics because it creates conversations which you spoke on
I think this is one of his top 3 songs! I posted this before I saw you saying it! Lol. That's hilarious we agree. This one of your top reaction videos for yourself! Congratulations, you'll be at 100,000 by May 10th. Keep hustling these videos!
This was the first song I heard from Tom. "Everything is mine" gave me chills. There used to be common ground between the sides. I'm not sure there is anymore. The powers that be are in control and making sure we fight.
I've watched so many of your reactions over the past few days and I have to say I LOVE them. Your honesty and conviction in what you feel is so refreshing. But you also have an intelligent point of view, it's not all just a raw emotional feeling. These are wonderful, and you look gorgeous doing it
Having children is the greatest thing we can do, teach them correctly, respect, loyalty, courage, and what is right and wrong and they will hopefully do the same.
I remember skipping this video bc the visual of Tom on the crib freaked me out!! So glad I finally watched it!! It’s probably his most powerful political song. I love it!!!! Plus love the hook!
This is the song that really made me a Tom MacDonald fan. I liked his other stuff and it was fun and interesting, but this made me take notice - this guy has something to say and he is not afraid to say it. I don't always agree with his points of view in all his songs, but that's ok. I don't know if he always does either! I think he is just trying to start the conversation. PS - Britt - love your hair like that!
The way you reacted to the lines about what women are up against is visceral... and for those of us with young daughters makes it even more real. Still we cannot give in. TMac's lyrics sometimes are dark, but they actually help because he elucidates the problems more clearly.
I am reacting to this song for the first time with this reaction. Holy crap just the first verse had me like "this guy is gonna be on the gov radar"... I am becoming a Tom fan. The system keeps us fighting about the topics that will never have a solution instead of focusing what brings us together. We are divided so they can keep power.
It's a great song and love the lyrics also Bri you are beautiful no simping just telling the truth. I thank you for the reaction and keep up the great videos
When this song came out & I first heard it, i felt like it haunted me for almost a week - really affected my attention, my sleep, even my diet. I’m not “blaming” the song. Just saying that the message clearly disturbed me. What’s weird is that Tom didn’t say anything I didn’t already know - but he just has a way of phrasing his ideas that make his lyrics hit different. Profoundly different, in this case. It’s a song I appreciate, and one that I think is important for people to hear - especially people who need their world view shaken up a bit - but for me, personally, I can listen to it only occasionally because it leaves me feeling hopeless. His other political songs drop a lot of truth bombs too, but I feel like they all contain at least a nugget of encouragement-or, if not, then they usually have a “speak your mind” vibe, or a “resist wokeness” vibe. This song has a “you’re screwed” that leaves me feeling hopeless. I don’t know….
I've listened to this song at least 100 times and I still get goosebumps when he says "what you choose will never matter because everything is mine."
Such a stark truth...
Yup, I'm surprised more reactors haven't paid much attention to that line.
It is a very dark statement, but like a famous poet once said ( fight fight against the dying of the light )
@@steviee.2108 Yup me too.
Big goosebumps.
Tom's music can make you emotional because it's so raw... and it's undisputable.

Mad props to Nova as well. They are very much a team. The visual in this is powerful. #hangovergang
He's not singing to the children as their dad. He's singing to them as the system. The system itself is tell the children that they don't have a chance, that everything they'll encounter has been predetermined.
The rattlesnake sound after he sings "Everything Is Mine" gives me chills

I"m glad you got around to this one - one of Tom's best songs. Tom represents the System (hence the red eyes - demon) in this video.
Britt I'm sooooooo glad you finally reacted to this song. This is my favorite song by Tom & Nova. I think EVERYONE in this country should hear this song on REPEAT until they finally open their EYES & MINDS so they can actually understand what it means to be

My favorite thing about Tom is that he absolutely does not have a filter.
I just discovered this song yesterday and I can’t get the chorus out my head…….
“They don’t want solutions, they want chaos”
Facts on top of facts
Collective action can be a powerful tool for change. On the other hand if you want to maintain the status quo and keep people from working together, then sowing distrust, fear, disagreement and desperation in the public can reduce cooperation; even between people with common problems.

What you choose will never matter because everything is MINE!
welcome to the System everybody....

Great reaction . I love how you break down the lyrics and tell your thoughts about it
Fantastic reaction!!! I can't wait for more Tom reactions from ya. You can get contacts that cover the whole eye.

Another important message from Big Tom!
He is speaking to the boy, girl, then the world as a personification of the system not as a father to his children. Great reaction. #HOG

I have never once questioned a child I brought into this world but the world I brought a child into. They sound similar but are worlds apart
