I hope you do one of these videos every season! It's so fun to hear both your seasonal knitting plans, and then a recap of what you finished that season. Your reviews of the pattern/yarn/overall finished project are the best! So thoughtful and detailed.

It's been fun following along as you've been working on these projects this summer! Everything turned out so nice and are so flattering! I appreciate you wearing your makes as you describe them; I think it helps to hear how you alter patterns for your own proportions. I wish patterns addressed this because listening to you I'm realizing the need to try on my own makes in progress. I hope your traveling is going well!

Thank you for explaining all your projects they are all beautiful, I’m petite as well under 5’ so this helped a lot. I’m beginner knitter and I’m looking for easy top to knit , pattern ,I’m from northeast area as well so it helps with type yarn. Thank you. Your Lankai top looks less complicated.

Thank you for the overview of all these summer tops! I really enjoyed it. They all look great, but the colour and style of the camisole #5 really stood out to me 😊

I love these reviews. As a fellow 5' tall, small framed knitter, your reviews are super relevant to me. Thanks and keep them coming! PS I made the Streamline Tank after your comments and love it.

Great video! I'm 4'11 an appreciate your sizing/fit comments a lot. I made a tank top using the Kelbourne Woolens Mojave and it pills/leaves a lint trail everywhere. It's been machine-washed and dried a few times now which is helping, but definitely a linty yarn.

Loved the video! I appreciate reviews of both the patterns and yarns as well as how the projects hold up over time.
If you're interested in an alternative machine washable 100% silk yarn, I think Purl Soho's Cattail Silk would be a great comparable option. I made a cumulus tee in the cattail silk and haven't experienced any pilling. They come in large 618 yard hanks and I've bought them on sale a couple of times, now. I'd say with the sales it would end up costing somewhere between KFO Pure Silk and Tynn Line.

Hi Amy 🖐 I love all of your Summer knits and I love that you have changed your style of video, we are heading into Autumn here in Ireland and our sunsets are getting earlier.

Great Video. I like how you talked about the yarns and the wearability of them. I've used the Sparrow linen for a cardigan and I love it. I even put it in the dryer for a light tumble to get the shape back. I just used the Quince & Co Kestrel linen for a top and it was great. Its a chainette yarn that knits like a DK weight.

Excellent work and all around educational content which is always appreciated as knitting is definitely not an exact science. I really love the wear and review process of the projects both for the pattern ms and the yarn. Thank you so much for the valuable information.

Great video as always, Amy! Loved this setup and more casual vibe. Only issue was at times when you backed up to show the top the audio was a bit muffled, but nothing major. I really liked how you wore each piece as you described them.

I love the colors you choose for your garments! They are all different, and all suit you so well! How do you approach color selection? Just intuition or more analytic?

When I saw the thumbnail, I immediately clicked because I wanted to hear you talk more about the Streamline Tank (because I’ve been experiencing gauge issues with mine). Imagine my disappointment when you didn’t include it 😩
Still, love your channel and all your videos! Thanks for taking the time to recap with all the details and your opinions re pattern and yarns

Oh no! I knit the streamline tank last year so it wouldn’t be in this video. However I do talk about a little bit here ua-cam.com/video/pvdzZou1egw/v-deo.htmlsi=JjB_yxtq5RgAZgZh and here! ua-cam.com/video/w240FuMx0jk/v-deo.htmlsi=Ct-D5LQqCUhLpufC

It’s nice to see your knits in a group. Lovely garments. Question about the K4O cotton merino: does it wear warm or cool?

    • @neknits
      @neknits  Рік тому +1

I found it wears pretty cool! The days I’ve worn it have been moderately warm (maybe 78 degrees F if I’m remembering correctly?) and I was very comfortable in it! I think it helps that my cami no 5 has large armholes, it might feel warmer if it’s a T shirt with sleeves

I enjoy your podcast, but “casted” is not grammatically correct. Cast is also the past tense so you “cast off” not “casted off”. Just wanted to pass that on to you.
