Best metal guitar duo in metal nowadays, fresh, heavy and innovative
I’m so used to Jonas having a beard seeing him without one is crazy
That‘s so frickin true.
the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell
yesh i'm fast now
That made my day!!!!!
favorite guitar couple
I like their guitars with the maroon and gold designs finish, from 2015-ish period.
YES GREAT TO SEE AVATAR RIG RUNDOWN FINALLY
Great rig rundown 👍🏼. Tim and Jonas are extremely talented guitarists.
One of my favorite bands, thank you Gear Gods.
why do i find them so adorable 😭 theyre much older than me
I love that Jonas' stuff says "Kungen" (The King) on the label!!! \m/
They deserve the ibanez signature models as 99% of the people think they already have
Thank you so much for this video, I really love avatar.
Ps: I love the Tim’s t-shirt (yeah I’m a guitarist)
we need to talk about how cute Tim is looking here
Ikr
He is always cute 🥰
He look like varg
@@starfishnavi hhahaha yes but noo
And how handsome jonas is
Still waiting for their Signature models to come out...
still
man I’ve been waiting for an Avatar gear video for so long
Love them.so much my 2 favorite guitarist's on the planet!!🤟🖤
Nice
Please have some playing demonstrations next time so we can hear the guitars and bass tones!
Duuuuude, I just discovered them last week and holy shit do they rule.
Side note: Snus is key to proper tone. Partial to Siberia dry slim myself but damn hard to find in the states.
Well I'm sure by now you've discovered their album Feathers and Flesh. If you haven't....you have to. Just sick, Phenomenal front to back, just in awe they are not at the front of the pack.....but I truly feel they are poised to blow up and get the recognition they deserve.
COLOSSUS METAL.
@@mike-st6vf oh I went back all the way to the early in flamesesque stuff. Haven't found an era of their work I didn't dig.
Yeah I stumbled upon them 2 years ago, right after they released Avatar Country. Was just blown away by the guitar work by Tim and Jonas, Johanne's range, Henrik's ability and innovative playing, and how John, like the rest of the band are somehow overlooked.
But yeah, I listened to song after song thinking "how the fuuuck are these guys not more known?!?" Lol.
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS!!!!
It´s a shame they didn´t talk about their signature guitars. Can´t find any information anywhere on those.
They arent signatures they are regular ibanez guitars with custom designs someone did on them
Rafahell Orsato ok here you are they are Ibanez rg prestige 3770fz in transparent red with gold hardware the pickups are Tim dimarzio dominion black and cream in the neck and bridge and a true velvet middle. Jonas uses emg 81 and 85 because of Zakk Wylde with a true velvet as well
@@TexasSmoking oh, ok
@@Web4Brainz wow, thanks man
Rafahell Orsato you’re welcome
hell yeah, i wanted this for so long
You can hear the swedish
That's most likely because they were born and raised in Sweden.
@@mike-st6vf Right? Lmao
Hey I have one: You can see they are musicians
I remember hearing these guys open for Avenged Sevenfold in an Arena... their sound dude was running a behringer x32 with waves plugins and it sounded very good! Might have been with a pro series stage rack idk
I would love to have some settings for their songs. Wow such a solid sound
Nice try with that whole "I'm Jonas" lie you've got going on.. I'd recognize my KING 👑 anywhere. 🤘
AVATAR 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Amazing
Tim's t-shirt :')
They were definitely Vikings in their past life
I wanted to see their signatures
Awesome bro
They need to do this but for henrik
Oh yes
Michigan ROCKS! da yoopee
where are the red guitars? i cant find anything about them anywhere
bleurgh i tried some snus in sweden, it was the noob stuff in the bag though
KRONAN lös bästa snusen för pengarna.
What string do these legends use? Anyone? 😎
Trying to find out what string gauge Jonas uses. I think I’m gonna have to try DDT strings to play along with Avatar, maybe 65 on the low end?
I remember them saying they use Elixir Baritone strings, so it'd be 12-68.
nice
🤘🥰
Tim sounds like a fuckin creeper I love it
Can someone tell me what model ibanez they use in this video??
They stole my idea of a killswitch volume!
They're stealing our jobs!
Does anyone know on what amp they based (most of their) profiles?
What's the dark powder in a can for?
Chewing tobacco
ATB 117 well, almost. You kind of just put it under your lip and it looks and smells pretty gross.
@@Robin-tt4lo well i guess it could be more accurately called dipping tobacco, but its vaguely the same thing, at least in the states from what i've understood, just putting it in your mouth is called chewing.
Snus, the grandfather to American dip. Much finer but packs into a pill shaped "prilla" that you toss under your under lip. Side benefit is less carcinogens and you don't have to spit the juices.
what's the black powder they shox after the guitars?
Snus. Swedish tobacco you put in your mouth. Not chewing tobacco but similar I suppose.
Does anyone know what gauge strings Tim and Kungen use?
Ernie Ball Baritone Slinky 13-72
That dreadlocks Guitarist looks like if old Dave Hollingsworth and gear couch dude (frank fleckenstein) having Dragonball Fusion
zomg
ДVДТДR
Wtf is on Tim's shirt ? 😂
The Inspector Cluzo
Do they go direct into the PA or are those Kempers the ones with power amps that feed cabs? Hmmm..dunno.
I would suspect they are using the powered Kempers and push to Cabs on stage to give them the "live feel" of having an amp behind them while also sending a stereo out to front of house for the live mix.
@@sjoblom104 I think you're right, except for the "we like a clean stage" comment, then the mention of the iem system. I don't know..
@@MrScatalog I took clean stage to mean no cables on the ground (wireless) and no massive pedal boards in their way (apart from the kemper controllers they are using as glorified $500 tuners according to Tim), but who knows. They have in-ears so they tech wouldn't need sound from live cabs on stage unless they just want to feel the air move so to speak. Fake amps and cabs for "display" are getting more and more common.
@@sjoblom104 all good points and totally possible.
Seen them live a couple of times, even had the chance to be sidestage during a show in Holland: no cabs on or of stage!
Wizard neck...low pro edge...can't beat the Ibanez.....
ДVДТДR? Wtf?
Its logo.
👍🏽 for the channel, not these guys
Why you don’t like them?
They are two of the nicest guys in the business, highly talented, dedicated and creative and you sir are obviously not.
Tim and Jonas are great and super talented.
Why? They are excellent guitarists
Show me some Henrik 🖤❤🖤❤🖤
