Hi , There is one book which tells the complete method of doing this pooja ..You can refer to it Start with Ganesh pooja and then do pooja for shiv parvathy and in google easily you will find the mantras which is good to tell and perform pooja. After completing the pooja you tie the nonbu kayiru to husband and kids. And ask Husband or elder to tie for you. I hope my reply helps you.

Need to prepare ghee athirasam in the same day .. and need to buy pooja items on the same day.. then as explained in this video need to arrange all and go to temple for pooja. After coming from temple ... Must tie the nonbu kayiru on hands of family members. Then can break the fast. Whatever in the plates (edible items must be consumed by family members only ) Other items including nonbu kayiru to be put in running river or well after 3 days. This is how I follow. To get a better idea ...You can double check with temple priest on the same ... May God bless you and ur family.

If possible you can buy new every year, if not u can use the same muram every year but make sure you keep it safe and never use for other purpose.

It's not necessary to prepare adhirasam , olden days they prepare adhirasam because they do fasting for 21 days so they did .you can prepare any food
Study any aamiga book for correct preparation and history for fasting
