@AnthonyGugliotta is the best channel about photography at least for me. I watch every video and every shorts. @scoopiezz Good luck to your Channel! I'm not 18 yet and my native language isn't English but I can easily understand Anthony. Do you have camera?
This was such a cool event to film (though, only for the first day!). I know very little about photography, so this was a good lesson. I was actually wondering what shutter speeds you guys were using when we were out there. Also very cool to see Ryan in this video!
Hope you got some cool clips! :) I'll add that for video I shot most of my B-Roll in 60fps at 1/125, but I'm tempted to try a bit faster next time around and see how it affects the footage!
ı have sony a6400 and sigma 18-50 f/2.8 and eighter the lens or body doesnt have any ımage stabilition and ı just got them would it be hard for me to get stable images on low light slower shutter speed setulations ( sory for my english)
Been looking for a video just like this, love your videos! Quick questions, would you recommend a Sony A7R or a Canon 5D? I'm leaning more towards Sony but I haven't gotten to try one, my friend has a 5D and I got use his for an event and loved it but he said he's gonna be going to the A7R.
Long time aviation and motorsports photographer. For a plane idling on the ramp like that 1/400 is way too fast. 1/60 and slower is needed for prop planes on the ground. Helicopters, no way I would even start any higher than 1/60.
I have been shooting with the Eos t3 for a few years now, it was given to me from my sister, and I’ve learned how to use a camera and have had a blast shooting around with it, but now I’m ready to upgrade, I have about 3k saved up which camera and lens would be best choice? I’m just a hobbyist.
awesome video! in these scenarios where you are shooting in broad daylight, i noticed some photos are 100 iso, and some are 320 iso but everyone has a ND filter, is there a reason not all photos are taken at 100 iso since its so sunny and bright?
1/125? That's nothing! Last weekend we shot helis on speeds ranging from 1/60 to 1/15, in order to close the main rotor of the helicopter. So yeah, 1/125 is nothing for us aviation photographers :p
@@AnthonyGugliotta yup, I find this to be quite common. With harsh lighting conditions, for eg. straight sunlight they get lost pretty easily, especially if there are no clouds in the sky to provide some contrast. If you wanna make them more pronounced, playing around with dehaze is your best bet.
hi, i'm new to photography, my brother just lent me his camera. I'm still confused as to how I can get a picture that is not overexposed in daylight with a shutter speed of around 1 second and low iso? And are tamron lenses good? I read in some forums that they are not good enough. please let me know. thank you guys
Was this out in Picton? I use to play airsoft, and there was a 24hr event that took place out at an old abandoned army hospital that is near a helicopter field. I never got to go, but it would be awesome to see it here I'd that's where it was.
Let me know if you want to see more photo adventures like this, and if there are any shutter tips I missed!
Yesss please this is amazing!!!
I really liked this type of video, entertaining but also very helpful, keep up the good work Anthony and thanks for this content!
Yes! This video was awesome - educative and fun :)
Yes of course! 👍👍👍
I did like to see more videos like this. You didn't miss any tips for photography but please make a video for videography as well
This one man has taught me everything I know about photography and I'm only 14. Greatly appreciate it. He is the best. Thanks you so much.

Note to self. stop looking like an idiot when Anthony is recording me 😅
You always look cool in my eyes

it would be hard but don’t be scared to bump up the iso
5:16 Because You use a Canon. Buy a Lumix camera.
Awesome video, and it was great to be a small part of it :)

6:59 "so we just shot this helicopter" ☠️ Say that to anyone without context ☠️
That was soo enjoyable to watch! And of course, great knowledge to gain. Cheers Mate!
Please do this for both ISO and aperture to if you haven't yet
Lord Berrus? The god of destruction?
This video was so entertaining and informative at the same time, and damn the aesthetics 😍 Love you bro ❤️
Hey I am the 10th person commenting!
Normally I use shutter priority when car panning 1/25 and pan with subject tracking.

That's awesome! I tired a few slower ones and felt like the blades weren't visible enough, that might have been because of the lighting though?

You need to use an nd filter
Raise your aperture number
Sony users like here❤
What about shutter in video?
You are really good at teaching , you teach all those things which are necessary to know for all photographers I like your videos thanks for your tips
Hey Anthony, how is lumix s5 ii autofocus when compared to canon r6 ii ?
I prefer the Canon and notice it does a better job of grabbing onto the subject!
@@AnthonyGugliotta I got nikon z6 iii
Man, that was a 'phenomenal' video with great content included! #subscribed
Whoaaaaa what a video! Taking photography education to a new level with this one
underrated contentt
In wildlife photography aperature is often the least important setting
You want your shutter speed fast enough to freeze the action
Great point! Animals can move pretty fast!
I love this video so much, the cinematics in the beginning were awesome!
We need to do more like this!
Great video!
I had my shutter speed at 1/30 from my last photoshoot when I had to photograph birds😭
Birds move FAST! Gotta up that shutter speed!

North Bay! Sadly the old Picton hospital is no more! They sold it off recently!

Damn, another missed opportunity on my plate.
Also Anthony what do you think about me buying a eos r8 and use it with cheaper ef lenses adapted?
I'm actually getting in an R8 soooon to compare! I think it's a great option!
awesome video! tks for the tips
Loved this video!
Love it! Thanks!
