I had a full factory blue n silver stock version of the Daystate Grand Prix - absolutely loved it - only issue was cleaning the internal chronograph. I’d love to see a side by side comparison of new vrs old .
Hi Marc, looks the business Ive orderd mine from my local gun shop hopfully arrives on Tuesday 11th it wasn't mentioned to me and I never thought to ask but does it come with a MTC scope and a hard case for how much the cost of the GP is. great review 👍regards Brian
Absolutely beautiful bit of kit but I'd probably spend more time adjusting it than actually shooting it! 😂 it's definitely too much rifle for me at the moment. One day maybe....
Skout / EPOCH is also electric.Skout have been making paintball guns for years.skout are using their own Patented Technology from paint ball for their gun I believe its their regulator stuff. Its Their first gun so could be good/bad also a usa company so maybe that better at hight footpound.
Yep, the guns in the £1000 to £1800 range are everything you need and would get in a £3000+ gun, you don’t get any more power, accuracy, build quality, fit and finish, or quality in the materials….. so only a mug would spend that much!
In 1908 BSA sold the Scout air rifle and sold it fo 45 shillings. Now its £900 to £1000 plus. In 1970 I bought a secondhand mint condition BSA Meteor for £15 was only earning £6 per week then lol You need a mortgage now days.
Good thing is you don't need to buy it if you don't want it. There's diamond rings, Bentleys, mansions etc. We don't need to buy them. If you really want this then it's worth considering having this instead of 2 £1600 rifles..
My local gunsmith currently has a used BSA Mercury mk2 up at £199. Inflation calculator has £15 in 1970 being £201.89. Doesn’t seem like much has changed really… Actually one thing has now I think about it. Minimum wage for 16 year olds is £7.55 so a 35 hour a week full time job would bring in £264.25. Or, to put it another way, your second hand BSA in 2025 would ‘only’ cost you around three quarters of a week’s salary compared to 2.5 weeks in 1970.
I was watching something on the Daystate channel and Tony Belais was being spoken with and he said it is very deliberately heavy up front so it can shoot well from a bipod. Or something like that.
Is the Epoch Skout not electronic ?

This doesn't have an internal chronograph... The Alpha Wolf does... I can imagine cleaning something that doesn't exist being quite a challenge...
@@mymodel6 I stated my original Daystate Grand Prix had an internally fitted chronograph that needed cleaning .
Super slick looking rife.
Rock steady shooting. Bravo!
Great Stuff 💯💥💥💥💥💥💥💥

Daystate isn't the only electronic rifle anymore.
SKOUT is fully electronic and hammerless. It's made in the USA. 🇺🇲
Woah Marc super cool 😎 👍🏻
How much does this one cost

SKOUT is also a hammerless design. It does make very high power.
❤ Very nice.. Now let's see, how much can I get for a kidney?
Its expensive... but i want it.. if i sell a few guns im not using i might just get this. Would be a nice show piece as well as a joy to use.
Does anyone else recall the time when you didn't need a mortgage to buy a half decent air rifle?

It's crazy how expensive they are id rather buy a used car or truck

Don't know why you don't use magazine single loading don't make it no better bud.
Everything is better with a montage. Just look at Rocky
Still prefer the Steyr Challenge, & Walther 400 looks a bit heavy & clunky somehow
