The dwarves did not see the daedra as deities to be worshipped or honored/feared. Their devotion was to knowledge. It's 3a.m. but I'm convinced it was Hermy Mora and the daedric princes that removed the dwarves for Nirn, just how they attempted to remove Ithelia from Nirn and history as well. If Ithelia was locked away and erased to prevent disaster or whatever and the daedric princes will do what is necessary to preserve themselves (like they got rid of jyggalag) here's what i'm thinking. Kagrenac did go to the heart of lorkhan and he DID use it. The dwarves were given god-like power and defeated the dunmer at red mountain. Unlike the Tribunal though did revere the daedra as gods, the dwemer do not and eventually would move against the daedra. So they came together, went back in time (like the dragon break and akatosh) and pretty much "deleted" the dwemer before kagrenac could tap into the heart. it's no coincidence either that the 3 gods who help Hermy make this possible are the 3 gods worshipped by the dunmer. Almalexia, Boethiah, Mephala. The dunmer who would lose at red mountain. (wrote this when i was on a sleepless grind)
Todd Howard has made it clear time and time again that he wants the Dwemer to remain a mystery and will never show up in any content. You might get Red Guard but you can count the Dwarves out of it.
I just met an NPC saying she's about to go west and she wonders if she'll meet me there. I am thinking this is a hint that we're going to Hammerfell or some island in the sea dealing with the Redguards. I just made a post about it on the forums.
Scribing takes place in a new zone so that Zenimax can place what is essentially an update to the base game behind a pay-wall. Any reasons beyond that are simply rationalizations, apologism or just plain cope. And you're right about Zenimax never expounding upon the mystery of the Dwemer. There is a list of plot points which Bethesda will not let Zenimax touch, and that's near the top of it. Along with the 3rd Akaviri invasion; which would in theory be a future event, relative to ESO's place in the TES timeline; or anything to do with their continent.
The free redguard home has an excavation of blue geodes in the middle which looks like ESO’s take on Aetherium which was highly coveted by the dwarves. The ancient redguards used their sword-singer abilities to war with the dwarven mechs. I take all these hints as free advertisement for ES6 where I suspect sword-singing will replace the Thu’um. What our player abilities will be with the sword may be customizable like scribing which we are living playtests for right now. Not a bad thing. Just a thing that devs sometimes do. Especially towards the end of a game’s lifespan.
Wouldn't it be wild if the next expansion was actually both Winterhold AND a region in Hammerfell? I agree, I've been saying for a while that we're overdue for an expansion in Hammerfell.
To your last point, nords are partially in stonefallsand the reach, then fully in eastmarch, the rift and western Skyrim. We don’t really need more nord culture added to the game. Imperial was lacking but Blackwood and west Weald have made more up for that and now the one lacking the most is redguard with one base game zone and a mini zone only. Argonians even have more. I don’t get the argument some use that they won’t do because ES6 is hammerfell, it’s different eras and kinds of games within the same universe.
As soon as i saw the title i stopped on are add i’m not watching spoilers until i finish the main story and everything else in Gold Road yeah i haven’t started on the rest of the story since i finished Scribing i could’ve done it today but i was too busy doing the Zenithar event with my Characters crafting and all that 👍🏾
That's not true. TES II had only tiny bit of Hammerfell in it. TES VI will have whole. There are parts of Hammerfell that never been depicted in close by any TES game. That's why Bethesda put ban for ESO on Hammerfell as whole.
JIMO, but I think *when* ESO gets a Hammerfell themed expansion is dependant on what the exact terms were with Bethesda when the contract was signed. Was it a time? Xx amount of years? Or Not until after TES6 comes out. The books in the Scholarium could be nothing more than Easter Eggs for TES6 or they could be hints at next chapter. I think it's more likely to be a Winterhold expansion next year, than a Redguard one... BUT it does make sense not to have the two Redguard themed games ( for want of a better word) too close together. So, yep, the sooner the better for ESO because I can't see TES6 coming out in the next 5 yrs.. I hope it does, but with Starfield just now done, it's unlikely. I'm not getting any younger!!
I absolutely love Gold Road! Expansions, ever since they switched to the multi year story and releasing systems in Q4 rather than additional story content, are even more important now because they give us clues for the next year! It has nothing to do with my enjoyment of Gold Road, which again, I’m having an absolute BLAST in. It’s just a part of the expansion - clues for the next year!
@@Cooperharley0204 You seem like a good dude who takes full advantage of the game but I can't believe you don't see the predatory practices of zos, blizzard, Microsoft and all involved in this game. The fact they have made 2 billion in revenue on this game already and it still costs a person AT LEAST $200 a year to "stay caught up" with the systems and economy in the game. My last vehicle cost $3000, this game has cost people about as much since its inception. It is literally the most over-monetized game and they get away with it because of the IP, one of the most known, fleshed out, and popular universes. The game certainly has addicting systems, and zos is very smart in how they manipulate, so I don't blame people who spend so much money and time for repeat content every year.
Before all that, the most desired and sought after item in the game is very quickly going to be luminous ink. I personally have no interest in Scribing. I sold all 12 inks i got from the story and made a million gold for the first time ever. I started immediately seeking more to sell. In the last 20 hours of playing, i found 2 more. Thats it. These things are going to cost ALOT. They are selling for about 45 k right now. But ill bet they will skyrocket by months end
Next chapter... ngl Gold Road is kinda boring, i did the race, im more curious if this game, will be closer to Throne And liberty dropping in september or New World dropping in October, either next year or next chapter, although the crown store is "made" more attractive for newer players, alot of ppl getting lost in that, will Eso ever do anything else?!?! Like ever before all this new stuff literally is fully like hey our turn now, yall aint doing nothing new, Eso is slowly becoming the introduction to players new to Mmo's, as a guild lead bored out of my mind even with the new content and a tru Eso fan i sincerely hope they make the changes they said they were going to at the end of the year if not Eso will become a memory sooner then later, and im saying this also for ppl that have played skyrim and oblivion, Zos needs to just take a risk and step tf out of their comfort zone, to much of the same recycled concepts & Bs😓 jbh

Them late night thoughts are HITTIN’!! Love it. I could absolutely see hermaeus mora being the cause of their disappearance!
I think the ash piles in dwemer ruins beneath mornhold in morrowind tribunal made it quite clear the fate of the dwemer.
🤣

We're overdue for another Redguard zone or another Orc zone, particularly Redguard. My Redguard lady is ready.

Fun fact: Ashes of Red Mountain is also the name of the best guild on xbox NA.

its a toss up between northern Skyrims hold of Winterhold and dawnstar and maybe whiterun or hammerfell

Yea spoilers mainly pertain to the scribing quest line, so you’re good if you’ve done that 👍🏻
@@Cooperharley0204 Ok alright 👍🏾
we do know about the Dwemer disappearance with the story of the Numidian i believe it’s spelled

The most glowing recommendation about an expansion is when the positive players start talking about the next one in the same month as the new release.
