You should show good lock from galaxy store, you can hide all icons at the top of your screen, like battery % wifi signal, or show some. Mine are hidden unless i use the pull down menu, then i see all

Great stuff Charlie and a lot of these settings can also be applied to the S22 Ultra. I just got the 5.1 update last week and there are a lot of small changes that make up a nice list of improvements.
True, I was gobsmacked by the amount of improvements added to my s21 ultra, glad I waited.

I love how detailed you are in explaining things.
Probs one of best tutorials, straight to the point, easy to listen to, not some shouty American hurting your ears.
Dark mode also helps to conserve the battery since the S23 uses the OMLED screen, black areas on the display are not using any of the LEDs in that section. So if most of your screen is black, then you're not using as much battery power.

@Tech Guy Charlie for me it's the perfect pace. And so helpful as I've been away from Samsung for 10 years! (One last thing ref. SwiftKey. The s pen does not work seem to work in text fields such as SMS and chrome. It works immediately when switched back to the Samsung keyboard. Any ideas?)

Is it clever to buy the S 23 ultra RIGHT NOW or should I wait for the S 24 ultra? Better the S 23 ultra right because it will be much cheaper and the S 24 ultra will not be that much better right?

You mean at the starting of the video? The lock screen was as it is out of the box.
Great video. I wondered why I had to hold the "power" button and lower volume to power off... Plus the brightness on the drop down menu also annoyed me haha

Is there a way to set seconds in the lock screen without tapping on the clock itself? And for the main screen. So the time is not just 12:17 but 12:17:12 :) I mean without using different apps.

Why don't I have the Microsoft keyboard?
Pre-installed apps differ from region to region, grab it from the play store.
You know how to change the search apps bar to the bottom? For default it is on the top, this is not much functional for me.
Totally worth of 20 min 😊

It depends on where you've purchased the phone, its actually included in some regions.

Something I found while looking for the keyboard setting that I'm very about. IF you have more then one language set for typing, you can now enable language detection while typing. I didn't know it until today

I've noticed while I use darkmode some themes don't work. I use a dark theme so it still gets the same effect as dark mode, even tho I don't have it selected.

Thanks for your tips, I just upgraded from my Note 10 Plus to the S23 Ultra & it was a huge upgrade. I've been rocking with Samsung Notes since the Note 5 & once u get use to a Note, anything else just won't do.
I just hate Samsung got rid of the IR Blaster, the SD Card Slot & No charging brick in the box 😠 😡 🤬
C'Mon Samsung, after paying $1,300 for a cellphone we should atleast get a charging brick.
I couldnt agree more! the charger and sdcard slot should come as standard with such an expensive phone, I hope EU passes a law that requires these brands to include these.

To be very honest, Note 9 does almost everything a modern smartphone does, yes the camera tech has advanced a lot, but the phone itself is great! If i wasnt doing UA-cam, id probably still be rocking my Note 9. But if you do switch, you will love it, because its quite a major upgrade.
