I found it! I'm watching at the title screen and listening to the cool soundtrack of the game which I played probably 20+ years ago the last time... Wow... Thank you sir
Heh, I was still partially using my SM124 when I got this game and was excited to be able to play it even when I didn't have my ST connected to a color tv. Gorgeous game as all Silmarils games, but also peculiar controls, as with all Silmarils games. I remember the first time I played this on the TV (colored) and was blown away with how good it looked. It would be nice to have a moder reboot/sequel, (3D and all) but I guess with Silmarils long gone, that's probably not going to happen. I never got even close to the end. So this is particularly nice to watch. Thank you for sharing. It feels good to finally see the ending. :)
The overall atmosphere is how adventure games should look like. The graphics look like paintings with a true impression of depth. How is it that the waterfall is animated while color version is static?
I didn't even know about the fairy that helps you see in the dark T_T 10 year old me feels stupid now lol Awesome gameplay btw, i didn't even know it worked in monochrome (guess i don't know much :p) But i do remember the load time, and Targhan is one of the worst offenders, holy shit
The loading times was the thing i remembered most about this game also from when i played the game when i was young :) I think all Silmarils games had quite long loading times.

Maybe i should do a colour longplay also? :)
Silmarils did release a sequel but it was only for PC it was called "Asghan".
Those were REALLY good days!

Those shouts when fighting sound suspiciously like the ones in "Barbarian, the ultimate warrior" :)

Very readable GFX.
