I know taking Homelanders kid would have been a huge risk and Butcher isn't emotionally invested in him, but surely when Butcher realised he has Homelanders powers he would have wanted to 'raise' him and manipulate him to be The Boys weapon.
I have to say - I am really glad that they wrapped up the revenge/saving of Becca thing with Butcher. It is a good plot but it can only go so far. He is now able to focus on THE BOYS and not being as 1 dimensional. His motivations are more dynamic now and can flow with the narrative rather than railroading it. Im so happy that it is not the full season arc. He can still help Becca but it is because of the outcome of toppling Vought not because he is a man out for revenge or whatever. Just some thoughts. Cheers y'all. ...also - Homelander can control the power of his eye laserz. He's able to use it to gently heat milk. Just havent heard anyone mention that. It's probably a throw-away thing but i found it hilarious.

When MM talked about passing on a disease, was he not talking about ocd? I get that in the context of the show its an allusion to this particular obsession with the supes/Vaught, but i think he was literally talking about the ocd Starlight pointed out earlier in the episode.

I'm more than a little surprised that so little attention has been paid to the final scene featuring Homelander and Doppleganger, as there can be little doubt from that scene that the TV show has chosen to go with the Homelander twist that was core to the original comic series. If you're read the series, rewatch that scene with that in mind and it will become blindingly apparent. If you haven't yet read the series, then all the better!

SO what I meant was that as readers of the comics will know, Black Noir was a clone of Homelander that Vought kept in reserve as the ultimate weapon if HL went off the rails. In the comics he committed most of the atrocities attributed to Homelander, and with HL acting so strangely and unlike himself at that point, I was convinced they were running with the Comic narrative, and that that was really Noir. I must admit that I'm a little disappointed that in the end BN played such an insignificant part in the TV show, as the enigmatic figure had so much potential. But by this point the show has taken on it's own momentum and I'm still very much enjoying the ride:)

We think she’s dead even she thinks she’s about to die but then she powers up and the laser eyes just starts getting absorbed by her making her stronger. If they follow the comics (and spoiler alert here) The Boys all take small amounts of Compound V so they can have a fighting chance against The Seven (especially Homelander, Queen Maeve and Black Noir). They only take a small amount though so it gives them all increased strength and durability. Kimiko is the only one who had the full amount of compound v as a child though which is why she as actual super strength, durability, speed and a wolverine level healing ability.

I don't love the whole "Stormfront trashing Vought" storyline. It makes no sense. Her fans would think she was fake as hell. It would be like Chris Hemsworth coming out, saying "Disney just wants to sell you crap toys, by the way, come and see Disney's Marvel's Thor: Love and Thunder this November" or whatever. I'm sure it will all turn out to be Fring's plan anyways but it seems like a stupid plot point that wasn't necessary.
I see what you're saying, but I don't really agree. I could see tons of younger people loving Stormfront because of her fake honesty (and I think people would buy it). Also, unlike real life Stormfront has a crazy amount of power. Even if Vought was pissed at her vocalizing her issues with the company they wouldn't have many options to shut her up except marketing her brutal honesty in their favor, or setting Homelander on her (which he wouldn't do at this moment because he hates Vought right now too).

She already had a Social Media presence before she joined the Seven so Vought knew exactly what they were getting. WT actual F is that all about? Edgar is far too fly to get mugged off like that.
It's all just a bit of a mess and I don't see what it brings to the story, personally. Other than one of the writers wanting to make some kind of commentary about the power of social media. Which is a boring reason to write a plot point.
Look at it more like the politician who yells about how evil and do nothing the system is (and gets people to vote for him because of it) while still very much being part of the system he's raging against.
