What a hunt to find any hint about this forgotten step. In the end the most important information was always right in front of me.
This step closes the gap between the spezzato of the Renaissance and the Almande step of the Regency

Danke! Genau das habe ich gerade gesucht, eine Abgrenzung zum PdB. Eigentlich naheliegend, wenn man dem Ursprung folgt. Kommt doch die französische Bezeichnung Fleuret vom italienischen Fioretto.
