1 tb seems low for such a beast of a rig. Great video and just in time for the holiday shopping season!
normally you'd be right, but I do most of my editing on my Synology NAS. I also have a 10GB connection to the NAS so...no bottleneck there either. 😉
Wow! Now those are some specs man. Hopefully it’ll last 6-7 years!
I hope so...but things move so fast I'd be happy if it made it to 4 and super happy with 5. 6-7 would be awesome! how often do you upgrade your PC?
Nice rig you got there... Funny when I saw the title I thought M$ had figured out how to stream low latency 4k Graphic for azure based gaming. Only thing I'd add some 10GB Networking with upgraded Synology NAS with a 10GB card for your video.
great minds think alike 😉 The Asus ProArt MB has built in 10G Networking. I use it to connect to my Synology NAS with 10G Networking like you said...

We flew to the moon with less computer power then is in a smart watch. This computer have enough power to go around the solar system 😉
Please correct me if i'm wrong, but i understood that running more than two sticks of ddr5 actually decreases the speed and that its better to run two instead? Unless something has changed i'm not aware of.

not exactly but great question! DDR5 clocks as 6000 anything over that is really an overclock. When you scale up the overclock you have multiple things to consider like memory bus, bandwidth and clocks CAS etc. this can also cause a boot loop on AM5 as well. 2 sticks can overclock easily. 4 sticks can do this too...IF they are matched. otherwise the advertised speed won't work...
