Probably because Zarbon and Dodoria are actually closer to Frieza than the Ginyu Force is. The Ginyu Force is the elites called in when shit has hit the fan, but those two were his trusted aids, he only called the Ginyu Force AFTER they died. They've probably witnessed it first hand.
They actually did a scenario of this in the fan manga in dragonball multiverse. I think he unlocked more forms that Frieza didnt even discover when he fought Majin Bra. I think given enough time and mastery of Frieza or even Goku's body, Guinyu might be able to figure out both their techniques and transformations. I mean if we assume hes used this technique before he used it on Goku, then we can also assume the body he has in the Z isnt even his orignal body and he had to master his current body overtime as well

@@QaamansLand I think it's either Guinyu takes over Frieza's body or I think he somehow manages to take over King Cold's and for a while is paranoid someone is going to discover it's not actually Cold himself the way he's acting. It's been a while since I read the manga so I don't remeber all the details. But he manages to make Frieza or Cold unlock a 5th and 6th form I think

Another question I don’t see as much is since Ginyu is dead now since Vegeta killed him in Super, why isn’t he depicted in his original body (whatever it was). He’s always shown as the one people recognize him as in the Namek saga even though most likely that body doesn’t belong to him.

Great video. Id like to add my headcanon about that last bit at the end: I think it was largely a pride and sadistic thing with Ginyu that made him want a fair fight since he first thought he was actually stronger than Goku and was going to win in the end and wanted to enjoy making Goku suffer, and got angry at Jeice for essentially insulting his Ginyu Force leadership and fighting capabilities by using underhanded tactics when he had the advantage so far and was enjoying the fight (his power level was 120000 vs Goku's 90000 until goku used kaipken x2 to go up to 180000, so he thought he was stronger) it was only after which learned prompted Ginyu to change his mind and take Gokus body out of desperation. I agree it is rather hypocritical and funny in retrospect, but he wouldn't have reacted to Jeice the way he did if he didnt think he was stronger before Goku powered up to kaioken. his mental breakdown against Goku going kaioken 180000 proves that to me.

I still really wanna know what would happen ginyu stole a fusions body. Like what happens when the timer runs out? Does ginyu’s split somehow, does ginyu get 1 body and the other becomes brain dead? Does the fusion mentally separate in ginyus body?

Simple answer, apparently ya swap bodies with a fusion. And even if they could the person who swap would essentially would no longer exist and the defused bodies would not have a consciousness in them.

I have a silly theory, that the purple body that Ginyu certainly swapped into during some fight, I always thought that, said body is the natural look of whatever frieza's race was called.
This is something i always thought of.
I never really thought about until recently, Ginyu is too loyal to to take over frieza's body.
He would benefit off of his natural strength but I doubt he would have tapped into the deeper depths of his potential overtime like Frieza did. Only person to do a body switch flawlessly and used it better than the original owner was Goku Black/Zamasu. I remember when people were comparing his natural potential to Broly. Though that’s a stretch he adapted very well to his vessel

And even then Goku black/zamasu had to get his butt kicked multiple times (even after witnessing ss2 Goku during their duel) in order to understand that power=mind+body+spirit. I think black/zamasu was already in tune with mind and spirit as he was a kai, but didn't know about the body of a "mortal" so he had to take a beating to learn about it. This is backed up by black/z saying "nothing can rival this body."

To your question about practicing body change, I have one counter. How did Vegeta practice using a self destruct technique? It's always possible that he just intrinsically knew how, although it wouldn't surprise me if that wasn't his original body.
I am guessing the self destruct thing is just him unleasing all his ki and turning his life force into ki and kept releasing it till he had nomore

An interesting thing about Ginyu is that he might be nigh-immortal. Far as we know the mind/living soul doesn't age, so if his body gets old and decrepit all he needs is to change. He could be ancient even if his body doesn't have some exaggerated lifespan
I think if Ginyu could wish on the Dragonballs he would wish for being able to change places simply by thinking "Change Now" (thus you couldn't just cover his mouth to stop him) and instantly gain the skills of whatever body he takes control of
Another idea: we have no idea what the power limit is to his body swap is so he could theoretically take control of Whis with the right circumstances. However that would be fatal because we learn if an angel interferes too much they cease to exist

What if Ginyu knew about Frieza's transformations (since Zarbon knew) and Ginyu probably had bodies before that could also transform. What if he was waiting for Frieza to transform before taking over his body? And Frieza made the transformations weaken him to prevent attempts to body snatch him. Frieza has used his 2nd form in combat before, so it is likely Ginyu needed Frieza in order to find stronger bodies for himself, although Frieza knew this and decided to kill the opponent rather than let Ginyu have him in this instance.
That's not time stop is a separate paralysis technique. Who knows, frieza might be able to break out of it.

Frieza wouldnt let a threat like ginyu exist if he wasnt handleable.
He destroyed planet vegeta long before any sayian was actually even close to his FIRST forms power.
pretty sure ginyu would be able to access most of freezas strength due to two discrepancies. freezas final form is his natural form, so the likely chain of events would be body swap- brief possession of freezas first form- then his body reverts back to his natural final form because it is his default form. additionally, Goku was an outlier due to the fact that he is abnormal in his mastery of ki and supreme control of his strength. freezas strength is an inborn trait and likely something ginyu would retain.

I think you are right that if Ginyu were to pull it off, he wouldn't be able to transform. But an interesting deep dive with no answer would be how old is Ginyu? Is he immortal as long as he changes bodies? Is his ability learned or an inherit ability that his race has like Namekian Fusion or Instant Transmission with the Yardrats?
I think the age depends on the body so yes, Ginyu can be imortal

i dont think ginyu's signature move is necessarily dishonorable
I mean it's there a chance since freeza is technically suppressing himself that if Ginyu took his body he could maybe revert back into final form since that would in theory be his "natural" form
I mean, Frieza isn't constantly supressing himself and when Ginyu took Goku's body it was even weaker than it's base
so he'd possible be at a power level of 300 000 instead of Frieza's 1st form base and not be able to transform, especially since Frieza himself had a difficult time doing it and it took alot of strain
I like to think Frieza made Ginyu his Top Soldier solely because of his unique ability. Someone like that could be a potential threat so how about you make them worship you instead so they never think of the idea.

Meanwhile a "naturally strong" body like Tagoma was actually made stronger when Ginyu took it because his body doesn't need as much mind body connection as Goku's did. So it's possible that Ginyu would actually make Vegetas body stronger like he did to Tagoma

The honor of gyniu is not the honor of a fighter is the pride from a capitán when he battles he does alone because he represents the elite in the gyniu forcé but he is allowed to use "cheating" táctics as he dosent want to be kind He is the threat for his Powers and hax
Ginyu displays that" honorable" mentally until he's presented with a foe that's wayyyyyyy stronger than him. He literally had a mental breakdown when goku powered up. Ginyu just thought that power lever =mind+body he never thought about the spirit nor technique. That was his downfall even in the rez f movie AND the dragon ball super show.
I don't think you're giving enough credit to the situation Ginyu was in when he stole Goku's body. The bulk of Goku's 180,000 power level came from the Kaio-ken, which was a technique that obviously Ginyu wasn't aware of. This resulted in him only having a power level of around 20,000 (which we can assume is about what Goku's power was without the Kaio-ken).
But Ginyu didn't have time to learn all the tricks that Goku's body was hiding, and would have certainly grown more powerful if he had time to adjust.
Similarly, while at first Ginyu wouldn't know how to transform into Frieza's other forms, it can be reasonably assumed that, like Goku Black, Ginyu would be able to unlock these abilities with time. Goku Black's advantage over Ginyu was time, which in this scenario wouldn't be weighing him down.
What about King Cold?
@@QaamansLand That depends on a lot of things that aren't clear in the manga/anime. How often do they even see each other?
Given how crafty King Cold appears to be though, I would guess that he would realize that Ginyu stole Frieza's body, feign ignorance, and then kill him when he sees an opening. The only way this would be avoided is if Ginyu was somehow stronger or was able to take the initiative in swapping bodies like he did with Frieza.
But then again, even if he swapped bodies with King Cold... he would once again be in an unfamiliar body, and unlike the swap with Frieza, King Cold would likely be able to harness more than enough of Frieza's body's power to kill him.
So in short, it doesn't look good for Ginyu if he meets King Cold.
💀 dude base goku’s power level was stated to be 90,000 in the ginyu fight in the daizenshuu and we know that goku used kaiokenx2 and obviously 90,000 x 2 = 180,000.also goku one shotted recoome who completely destroyed vegeta who’s power leve at that time was over 30,000 💀
Ginyu letting go of Goku had nothing to do with honor it was just him making sure Goku's body wasn't damaged when he takes it.
At that point of the battle Ginyu was winning.
@QaamansLand Idk about winning I think he thought he might have the upper hand but Goku was far from showing off his abilities. I think Ginyu wanted to see how strong Goku really was as he does with every opponent to see if the person is stronger than him so he can steal their body. After all Goku did beat 3 Ginyu force members with ease and Ginyu knows about that.
Frieza knows about Ginyu's ability, but Ginyu has another option: first take the body of someone else (like one of Frieza's underlings), then get close to Frieza and catch him off guard. Frieza's speed / reaction time would naturally depend on his form, so it'd have better chances to work if he was using his most suppressed form.

Funny how Ginyu claimed that he was no2 in the universe behind Frieza despite knowing that King Cold was out there. Ginyu even worked for him before according to the 2018 movie. Frieza also made a weird statement when he faced Goku that he never thought anyone could surpass Ginyu which made no sense since Piccolo and Vegeta were much stronger than him.

If he stole frieza's body he'd be able to achieve a power level of 135,000. this is equivalent to the proportion of goku's power he was able to access when he switched. so he would still be way stronger than basically anyone else in the universe except king cold (and of course buu and beerus, etc.)

@@justinarzola4584 goku had a power level of 90,000 when he arrived on namek. kaio-ken x2 puts him at 180,000. If Ginyu switched bodies with frieza, due to the unfamiliarity he would only be able to access about a power level of 135,000. Goku's 180,000 is far above that, and that's only kaio-ken x2, goku could probably go up to x10 at this point.

@@pIayingwithmahwii it mostly depends what form of Frieza he takes over,and yeah Goku would beat him if he is in Frieza's first form,Ginyu wouldn't be able to get frieza's 100% form cause he wouldn't know how to use it properly without forcibly pushing himself to that limit when his back is against the wall, I was talking about the fourth form not the 100% since Goku's Kaio-Ken ken didn't work on Frieza in that form.
