- The exercise is a biennial three week multi-national large force employment exercise conducted primarily from RAAF Base Darwin and RAAF Base Tindal.
The exercise will host up to 2500 personnel and up to 100 aircraft from around the globe including participants from Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Indonesia, India, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Thailand, UAE, US and UK. Significantly, Germany, Japan, and the Republic of Korea will be participating fully for the first time.

Anyone else get the Heebee Geebees for a split second when seeing the German Eurofighter Typoon?
Made me think for a brief moment what it would have been like if we lost ww2 and our airfields were filled with German planes.
Of course now I love that we are all allies and we have much greater fish to fry. But back then it was possible if the allies didn’t hold it together and see it through with the resolve we had.

The queue for the bus to the base first thing in the morning was tough to get through. But the display was great! German Eurofighter and the F-35 my highlights. The Germans clearly came to party!
An F-35 parked next to a Growler no less. I thought to myself ouch, a couple more of each and that'd be tough to deal with.
Great video with close ups and identification of the different fighters . Sorry I missed this great event as I had to leave Darwin . Thank you for allowing me to see all my favourite aircraft
