- We attended the open day at RAAF base Darwin NT Australia.
17 countries have arrived with over 100 fighter jets.We were very lucky to get this close to some amazing aircraft. Come for a walk through on this sunny 33 degree day.

The writing "Air Ambasador" on one of the fighters seems funny tounge-in-cheek perhaps. Amazing how short the wings are on the F35. Interesting vid!
It was great to see so many varieties of jets on display. The F35 is so noisy with the one large engine.
I used to live right next door to the Newbury air base in Berkshire UK , I remember the volcan bombers coming in man they were loud it was great we used to spend hours watching the jets when we were kids ! It was decommissioned some many years ago now but this brings back a few good memories 👍
I was watching them take off last night, twin afterburners in the night sky.
@@darwininsights442 I bet that was a magnificent thing to see those jets are amazing things , I remember going to an air show with my dad and watched a harrier take off and land it was an incredible thing what a machine and pilot to lol
It was great to have the open days& Pitch Black back on. Every man & his bloody Aunty was there. It brought quite a few international & interstate visitors into Darwin. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻🙃🙃

Majority with the gopro 10, small amount with the mighty samsung S9 haha.
@@darwininsights442 I filmed all mine with the GoPro 10. Did you notice that when the hyperboost is on it cant handle panning? Its very jerky.

Just great we were allowed to get so close to the planes .
@@darwininsights442 I agree. When I lived in Melbourne Avalon air show was massive (I never got to it). But this is great. And the air handling display show at Mindil makes it even better. Glad you got the photo of the pilot waving. That’s awesome.
