Note to the video editor: When showing macramé, I would suggest no jump cuts the first couple of times they do a knot. I’m sure these were cut for time but for someone trying to follow along, it’s really helpful to see one or two from start to finish.

Raw beauty as a wall hanging and fun to sit in as a chair , makes a beautiful hanging plant basket or whatever you want to use a hanging work of utilatarian style art . Yes more more more. Would love to see more Macrame stuff from you, since yall did a fantastic job at teaching/ showing how to macrame. A couple of my friends and I are going to Jerry's to gather supplies for this today. We are going to create a free standing frame and attach the chair to that instead of the ceiling cause I am a renter 😂. I will share a video/ pictures with yall when it's done. Thanks for the inspiration.
Does anyone have like a store bought version of this? And is it expensive? Because I really want to get a chair like this but idk if it would be cheaper to buy it or make it 🤷♀️
Definitely cheaper to make. The materials all together probably cost $30-50 and the chair would retail for $150-250 unless you go to a bougee store and then it'd be more like $400-500.
I bought a pair years ago and they were about $100 for 2. However they were on sale at a little shop that was going out of business. They have lasted on my screened in porch but I do put them away during our winters. They have lasted forever and I have had kids rough housing on them. I definitely think that the macrame makes them very strong.
As allways, loved the diy! But i did prefer when it wasnt like the tons of diy videos you find online. Its more fun watching you girls talking and doing the things at the same time because you keep adding new information and tips. Please do that again!!
Macrame table runner????? For my rustic outdoors wedding please and thank you! Also would love other ideas for macrame table decor/centerpieces & wedding bouquet decor! (macrame around the stems omgggg)
Thank you sooooo much. This is the first time a diy works for me I love the idea. The only thing I came across as hard was that I had to look up the inches and foots to centimeters. But it was hell worth it. Again I can’t thank u enough for helping in this video
You guys are so rad. Yes please to more macrame, and maybe you could do a woven wall hanging tutorial too? My dad made me a loom by hammering wee nails into a frame he made, and I reckon you guys would have the best colours/designs :)
How much weight does this chair can hold? How long (average) does it takes to finish this project? Can you add more ropes to make it a little wider? It looked a little narrow for me.
