It was once called Hirano-go, and is actually one of the oldest villages in Osaka city.
In the Middle Ages, Hirano-go had a huge ring moat surrounding the town to protect it from attacks from foreign enemies, and flourished as an autonomous ring moat city along with Sakai.In the Edo period, it accumulated enormous wealth as a cotton distribution center. I did.
